Good game in the park tonight with Crans winning by 4. Couple of really soft goals were the difference. Ports 1-17 Crans 4-12.

Was that Div 1 Seannie? That's only 3 games played this week in the 2 Divisions.

Liatroim will be ok. None of them ever do exams.

A bad weekend for the Down teams in the Antrim league. All 3 bate in Div 1. We lost in Glenariffe 3-12 to 9. Loughgeil won at Ballycran and Galget were bate by 2pts by Johnnies. Not looking good. St Johns and Glenarriffe would have been favorites for relegation.

Bredagh bate Sarsfields. Id say McGuiness enjoyed that one.

Some shambles last night with the fixtures.

South down requested only three games to be cancelled due to player commitments, Warrenpoint, Newry and Liatroim. Yet all the others with either one or two panelists gurned that much that they got theirs called off as well, some not through proper channels.

AFAIK only Clonduff travelled to a much stronger Ballygalget due to their Div1 game with Warrenpoint being cancelled and lost their unbeaten record.

Time the fixtures secretary called a halt to this.

Can anyone from Ballygalget confirm that Ballyvarley refused to even consider a move of date and time for their game on the Easter monday, yet Ballyvarley were on of the first to gurn about their fixture not being cancelled last night. Can't have it both ways lads.

All except 1 match last night were called off due to Lory Magher Cup on Saturday. Carryduff stuffed at home again. This time by Ballcran 3rds. Why don't they load the defence to keep the score down? It's getting embarrassing.

Bricktop, you're totally right about the league. Total disgrace all these matches getting called off. Has James McCartan requested all football matches be called off ahead of the Armagh match? Warrenpoint would have played without the south down players. No choice given. With Ballygalget travelling a big distance and with another match that night we'd have fancied our chances of sneaking a win. I doubt very much it'll be re-fixtured what with the number of games and leagues Ballygalget compete in. Very disappointing.

Frank you need to whys up carryduff had a very young team out last night. With the exception of about 6 boys four of which where will into their fourties. So in my opinion and i would say the average joe bloggs opinion they are doing better than what is expected. Especially considering they are missing four or five boys who would play down the spine of the team. you will have too eat your words very soon FRANK

Carryduff are bottom of Div 2 with no points and a points difference of -43. That's embarrassing.

Load the defence in the next game and try to keep the score down. Play 3 goalkeepers and 9 defenders. If you can get beat by less than 9 next time out that would be a moral victory and something to build on for the future.

Forget all this talk about Carryduff being the "up and coming club" and planning to win senior championships.

frank carryduff nearly couldnt pull a team together last night cuz they rely so heavily on their minors and for this season they have had their minors at county and at the moment the minors have alevels and cant play..im not sayin they are world beaters with a full team but will obviously put up a better fight
