Can anyone inform me on how Castlewellan are doing this year?
As I'm aware they have lost many key players since last year due to work and travel, but it's very hard to keep up to date with the league results and standings.
How are the other team performing this year?
Who is going well?
Who is not fielding or struggling?

When you say Bredagh cant beat The Ards thirds you are talking about Bredaghs seconds here. The Ards have set the standard with 3 teams competing its up to the rest to match it.

we hear people on here from the ards saying some non-ards teams cant beat ards 3rds teams but if they beat the odd team each year then surely this will help these non-ards teams grow in confidence and some day, some day the ards teams will get a boot up the backside and i then question these people to whether they will come out on these forums and be talking about the defeat or will they be drowning their sorrows in the local pub
btw ballygalget did finish 2nd that year but sure we gave them one hell of a kick up their backside but it wasnt big enough as they finished 2nd to ballycran

bredagh have achieved this and are only a few years away from the ards 1st teams so just sort yourself out i.e. Senior Hurling Championship

Simple fact of the matter is that if an ards team is playing and the team a grade above isnt playing, e.g ballycran 3rds playing, 2nds not, then the reality is it will be the majority of the 2nds starting the game at the very least. whatever you think about grading lists or whatever is a load of balls, itll be more or less 2nds. i dont particularly care, im not crying about it, weepat is right. everyone needs to improve themselves to get to that level, but to have a go at bredagh and carryduff for getting beaten by a stronger team than the division suggests just highlights the point why 'ards' folk have the reputation of arrogant a******s. not all are, but your giving them a bad name 'kid'.
