Hurley league

So is that it then?

I suppose the relegation/promotion playoffs in the football will then kick in and thats Liatroim, Shamrocks (although they don't have that many dual players and in all fairness have completed more fixtures than anyone else) and Kilclief tied up.

Surely that isn't good enough that almost a third of the league hasn't and won't be completed yet again.

In reality Down clubs only hurl for 5 months in the year, How are we meant to improve?

Is there a master fixture list produced at the start of the year and how well adhered to is it?

i'am afraid so. the intermediate teams never realy played in the league since July. a lot of the Down div 1 games clashed with the Antrim league and never got refixtured as some clubs wouldnt accommodate. Leitroim seemed 2 b the club that wouldnt accommodate. but it's a long road wit no turning.

I was thinking about missing out on the tankings we give you in Div1, Antrim league reserves and Antrim reserve championships recently. They should be of real embarassment to you as i think the closest you've come in the last few years is 10 points with one outing almost a 30 point victory.

Bricktop you are forgetting a big thing here is that the galgets are a championship club ... we use the leagues to prepare for championship and quite honestly bad as it is we don't really care about leagues.
But you fleet footed should really be embarassed at the minute with the hammering we gave you few weeks back! what went wrong ? how could you turn around that defeat next year? really bricktop you are in a very bad position .. but don;t worry come out on sunday and cheer on the galgets the real championship club.... we are the past , present and future of down hurling ...................

But as you say yourself, the leagues are over.

We're top of the league with points in the bag, so I'd be expecting the trophy to reside for yet another year down our way.
