To be fair Warrenpoint played fairly well on Wednesday but had difficulty taking scores. Even easy frees were wasted by the Point & with our forwards on fire every chance was taken and every mistake punished. The score doesnt show that it was a well contested game.

2 of the Div 2 games are put back to Monday night. Clonduff beat Bredagh in the other one that was played last night. Clonduff stay top for now.

Div 1 is very close between the 3 Ards teams and Bredagh are showing up well. Should be some good matches tonight.

Ports closed the gap on Ballycran at the top with a well deserved win last night. The wanted the win more and played as a team. Crans were all over the shop but if theyd mastered the wind and scored frees/65s they could have got something out of the match. They need a new free taker. They were also lucky to finish with 15 men IMO after a dirty strike in 2nd half.

Good win for Kilclief away to Liatroim. Not an easy place to go an win.

Dont think our game with ballela will be too representative of the championship game later in the year, but its still good to get another win under our belts.
My predications for this week just for a bit of craic are;
Kilclief - - Ballygalget - Ballygalget by the minimum
Shamrocks - - Ballela - 3 red cards, and a draw
Warrenpoint - - Liatroim - liatroim by 6
Ballycran - - Bredagh - dont think this is on, but obviously us by 30.;)

Weepats Surprise surprise Bredagh Ballycran is supposedly off tonight when Ballycran have to travel to Castlewellan in Div 2 and they cant be going their with a weakened team. Ports couldnt travel to Liatroim recently but fielded a junior team at hame to Castlewellan. The whole thing is beyond a joke at this stage. Time for the Ards to cut to two teams and leave it at that. Weepats can you confirm Bredagh/Ballycran is definetly pulled.

if castlewellan looking promotion into div 1 then a couple of seconds playing for ballycrann 3rds shouldnt be a problem. Play the game and stop looking for the excuse for losing before game played.
