i know newry have been given alot of abuse for not showing for matches at underage and at senior level, although credit where credit is due that is a great victory to come out on top of liatriom. this win shows that newry do have the hurling its just whether or not they can have the attitude to bring them to the next level that is the problem..

To be fair to our (Bredagh) seconds, we've a number of lads away at University and others who are holding off playing until after their exams. We'd be hopeful of being a lot more competitive in the second series of games.

Great result for Shamrocks, ironic that it was on the same week that all 3 ards teams failed to field both their adult teams. Looks like they sent loaded teams to beat promotion hopeful's Castlewellan and hammer Warrenpoint 2nds for their sins. Pot kettle and black spring to mind. Well done Clonduff for claiming points.
