dont believe all your uncle tells you tommy he woud have me responsible for all the posts on here. I only need one name to wind up the point and it so easy to do . Evident by mondays game you say another 2 or 3 would have changed the game. I say yous have lost sight of what yous were trying to achieve " to give all a chance of competative hurling " paul, michael, mitch, pockets fegan and mark rafferty are regulars on the firsts not on the list but from the previous wednesday night 5 players had to give up there chance of a game so as to allow the manager to think he could get the better of clonduff. You call this development. Clonduff realise that it not feasible to field two teams on one night but we can field one team in both leagues on consective nights thus allowing thet fringe players to gain experience. Last point for you to mull over. The exclusion list is for the best fifteen players available to play week in and week out that the rule now go away and check your list and see if all fifteen are available to play week in and week out, Maybe like youself they going to fly danny home from austrailia, best of all has to be that they looking to regrade liam so as mitch can be on the list and he going to england. Seems the point want to have the fiffteen on the list all out of the country. Whenever you have a good argument come on here and state it till then keep playing the game

I got all my predictions for the league right except for 2! Not bad.

Bredagh draw with Ballycran was 1 i didnt call. Great result for Bredagh but the real upset was Newry turnin up in Ballela and the game bein finished.

Gerry, Some of what you say may hold some ground. But it seems you no more than i do. I know what the objective of running the two teams. And we're standing by that. 2players on the field last monday only picked up a hurl last year. And there was 2 more on the bench like that. Paul is the only player out of the 5 names that has featured with us consistantly. But is he not allowed to? Espescially since we have a bad spell with injuries and fellas working. Mitch, Jaffo and Fegan haven't been holding a place with the 1st team. Mitch didn't play last night but only now will he be pushing to retain his spot. Suppose Jaff was suspended so i don't know weather he would have been involved, but Fegan was with the 2nds. The other Micheal you mentioned i'm not sure. God forgive me, but i really don't know who that is. I'm hoping you accidentally named Mitch twice and that i'm not forgetting some one from the team :/

I'm not stupid. I know where your digs are aimed at. But when you mention W/point rather than who it's for your talking about the lads who turn up,.. as you say, to play the game.

You know what, i have totally gone of track and just remembered why i was annoyed by your post in the first place. The fact you called Monday nights game a "training excercise". The same game that for the most part was pretty evenly contested even with W/point losing a man in the first ten minutes. The rest of the politics i couldn't care less. I love playing the game, and over the last couple of years i have been lucky enough to be on the winning side a fair few times. But never have i said that about a team i have beat. Regardless of score or who was involved.

They had a good start on us. 2nd half we pulled back to 4 or 5 points before they got their 2nd goal and a couple of late points. Overall i thought we played well considering the massacre that happened last year.

I wouldn't slag Warrenpoint. They are one of the few club coaching hurling. They have produced some great players but not just enough to produce a great team. Keep up the good work!

crans were beat tonite by two. Poor result, poor play. Expected more, but really I feel the match was lost along the line. Some strange managerial decisions from the crans. For example why gilmore was off at half time and why young james balmer never came off the bench. The man impressed for the minors the other nite , but has yet to get a look in. He is yet to make his debut at this level but with further strong performances for the minors, his day will come! These young players need to be brought in gradual, and im sure the crans maNAgement will do the right thing and give the man a game home to cwellan next week. Need a result here, so time to give the young ones like sean mccarthy and james balmer a chance.
