maybe you should open a thread on the Div1 football relegation and Div2 football promotion debacle as no doubt it'll run on until chritmas, all the while holding up the hurling leagues much to the shame of a very, very weak county board.

Mr down man this thread shows u the interest that the hurlin fraternity has and if u dont want te read it dont click onto it. frank galget play leitroim or the crans in the final. there seems to be a complete balls made of the football play offs between longstaines, saval and leitroim so that in turn will hold up the playin of the odder semi final of the McCrickard cup. it shows u dat the co board can make a mess of the football as well as da hurlin. well done bouys!

I see there is only one Antrim League game on this week end. Ballygalget host Loughgeil. If Ballygalget win this game it will mean St Johns go down. But the question is can Ballygalget find a team? Are those dozen players still walking around the lowlands in search of a game? Time will tell.

Portaferry are top and play Newry on Sunday (if they travel). Liatroim havent played any of there outstanding matches in weeks because of Ulster Championship and football play offs. The Joe McCrickard semi is delayed for the same reason.

Ballycran won Betsy Gray.

did n e body watch the shinty on bbc2 scotland? the reason i ask is Tommy Walsh must of grew 1foot 6ins and wore a green helmet. the scots commentators said Tommy was one of the best hurlers in Ireland but the camera was always on magic. check it out on the iplayer.

Who cares. There only is three half decent teams. The rest of them are of a terrible standard e.g Castlewellan. Ballygalget under 14's would probably beat Castlewellan seniors!!!!!!

Leitroim play senior champ next year, da "point " r down, ballvarley replace the "point" 4 a year. newry playin in der own league! bredagh 2nds replace da "point's" 2nds. leagues r starting St Stephen's day to ensure dey finish on time. Betsy grey an McCrickard cups starting Easter Sunday finals held on the joyous 12th as part of culture respect. Football final held in Ballycran this year to promote the "big Ball" sur le Ards. Bredagh 3rds and Carryduff's 1sts r 2 amalgamate to promote da game an play in aaaaaaaaaaaah any league. senior co hurlers 2 train on new 2g pitch (couldnt afford 3Gs) in Ballhalbert as part of cross community realations. clear as mud dis year again.
