well lads just back from working wit john bull. any games on tonite. saw Ronan Mccarty doing well in london town a native of the Ards. is there an outbreak of swine flu on the Ards yet or is it all contained on the "Main Land" I think we should put da boat off.
disappointed when i saw the result of the chris ring pushed Antrim going by all reports- there is always next year. Ports top of div 1 by beating the Crans was that not a turn up for the books. i see the half Down championship is starting soon Leitrom favs for intermediate and Newry for the junior, sorry their not in it i forgot their div 1 but its so long since they have been to da Ards. Da "point" must be for the junior as they have senior county "players" playing and have alot of good"young players" or so ive been told. winning those 2 comps would b like having 3 of the 6 lotto numbers, not quite fullfilling. Winning but always wondering "are we good enough"
any 1 no when the complete championships are to start or have the co board forgot about them.

Carryduff beat Point II's by 2 points. Duff had a good lead at half time but the point got 1-04 without reply to go in front 2nd half. Some good long range points for Carryduff in a strong finish to win.

Well done Carryduff on their first win but well done to the Point for fielding 2 teams away from home in the middle of July.

How did the Town do in Portaferry?

Warrenpoint were the only team on the ferry last night so perhaps Castlewellan cancelled what with Ulster Semi this weekend against Clonduff.
Where is that match on?

Fair play to Warrenpoint I for one didn't think they could manage it. What they really need though is more reserve teams on the main land that their 2nds can play agin so that their 1st can drop down to Div 2.

I find it funny that the Newry posters were the biggest critics of the point's 2 teams at the start of the season. Newry didn't turn up for Portaferry, Kilclief or Ballela while both Warrenpoint teams travel and play.

It seems Ballycran 2nds and 3rds are both at home tomorrow at the same time. Playing Ballygalget in div1 and Carryduff in div2. Does anybody know what happens in these circumstances? Has there been changes to the fixtures?

Has anyone any idea where the Portaferry v Ballycran minor championship match this thur night will be staged? Who are favs for it?
Interesting to see on the Club Titles section on here that Bredagh were senior hurling champs for 2007, great strides have certainly been taken in the south of the city so well done to all concerned.

MHC semi final will be in Ballycran on Thursday. No neutral venue available so clubs tossed.

Is that fella Colum McManus playing for Ballycran this year? I remember him on the Down panel a couple years ago then heard nothing since. From what I remember he was useful from frees!
