Big win for CPN at home to Kilclief on Monday! 1st win in Joe McCrickard Cup.

4-20 to 2-12, with 1 of Kilclief's goals coming from the throw in in the first minute, with the bright sun proving to be quite distracting.

Not sure how any of the other games went

One swallow doesn't make a summer, but hopefully we can build on it with a lot of absentees.
Sure we beat ourselves against Clonduff earlier in season in this comp, so bit early to judge.
Hopefully, come championship we will be prepared this year...

Looks like Liatroim and Ballela are in the two finals. Who they play we be decided in the next week or so but it will be Ballycran or us in both.

In the Antrim league its all about staying out of the bottom 5 when the league splits.

Crans look safe and could pick up another couple of pts at home on Sunday. Galgets look to be in big trouble an really need to win at home to Ballycastle. Its all touch an go for Ports but we have a tough away run up to Loughgiel on Saturday. Thats not a place youd expect to win very often but we'll travel in hope!

McCusker is the main man for them. If he's fit they could go far in championship.

Going on league form, Liatroim should be favourites for the Championship, closely followed by Ballela.. A lot will depend on what players are available for Newry, Carryduff & the Point as well.

Some decent games the night in the BG lads!

Round 7

Castlewellan V St.Patrick's GAC, Portaferry

Ballygalget V Ballyvarley

Carryduff V Bredagh

Ballycran V Ballela (Top of table clash)

How does this work...do the top 4 play a semi-final and then final?

Castlewellan 0-20 V 2-19 St.Patrick's GAC, Portaferry

Ballycran 1-9 V 0-20 Ballela

Ballela far to good over at McKenna park with McCusker giving a masterclass in free taking. Good competiitive game with no quarter asked nor given from either side. Some very tasty challenges from the Cran who lost their discipline on numerous occasions. Ballella the team to beat in the championship!
