Aidan O'Shea will be good if given time. If we had held onto Hanley rather than the Aussies robbing him then our forwards would be looking OK for the future, especially given the way Dillon is playing. jason (Mayo) - Posts: 139 - 10/04/2009 21:57:24 254549 Link 0 |
is that aiden o shea the minor from last year cause if it is he is a serious footballer! Royal_son (Meath) - Posts: 300 - 10/04/2009 22:56:36 254590 Link 0 |

Denis Bastock looks like he will have the No.3 jersey come June, keep an eye on him!!Donie Kingston from Laois is another up and comer although I can't see Laois doing too much this year! dubinlaois (Dublin) - Posts: 304 - 11/04/2009 13:03:32 254758 Link 0 |

Some of the Mayo contingent may be able to tell us: Who was the minor mid-fielders last year? I remember one of them having a stormer in the final(s) last year. Kicked a point not too unlike Doohers, from the sideline late on in the game. Class act. Inactive x5 (Cavan) - Posts: 1452 - 11/04/2009 15:11:57 254825 Link 0 |
Gael85 is there an Aiden O'Shea in Kerry? Or is that supposed to be Mayo? an-lu-abu (Louth) - Posts: 118 - 11/04/2009 15:33:03 254833 Link 0 |
Aidan O'shea looks to have the makings of a really good footballer alright, he was head and shoulders above anyone else in the minors last year (including our own Coney). It will be interesting to see how he gets on in the championship, theres alot of expectation on his shoulders. I still think Mayo's going to need alot more than this young lad to get anywhere near the likes of Kerry. whitenred (Tyrone) - Posts: 156 - 11/04/2009 15:51:49 254842 Link 0 |
an-lu-abu,there also Aidan O'Shea for Kerry, son of Jacko, could fill the full back role for kerry, marked tommy walsh out of game in kerry county final.Aidan O'Shea from Mayo great prospect too, only 19,centre forward for mayo minors last year, was match of man in the minor final against tyrone. From the Mayo minors for last year the goalie looks like he could be battling for the county num 1 in the future and also Adian O Se, big strong player. From Tyrone I don't think Kyle Coney is all that, too much hype surrounding him I think that young fella Pickering will be a top corner back in years to come, a Ricey that people will like so to speak. seen Stefan Forker in u21 championship for armagh. looks like a big prospect in the full forward line. Could fill the gap left by Mc Conville. LagheyLad (Donegal) - Posts: 39 - 12/04/2009 12:48:45 255200 Link 0 |
