I'll try to post this again because my last one never got up. In reply to showtime cowboy I feel the referee had no control on the match on Sunday. I'm not making excuses but I think he got the first sending off wrong. Their player headbutted ours, he did react but he did not strike him. As for the second one I did not see it but if what you say happened then he did deserve to go.

If a player attempts to strike he should walk if he hit jim or not . And if someone headbutts someone they should also walk even though he is from my own club.

As the league is drawing to close now, with only 4 games left for Greencastle, my nerves are now getting palpable. Can Greencastle holding their nerves and knock down the doors of destiny to finally break through to Senior football in Tyrone. I'm approaching my 30s now and I never thought this day would come. The older generation especially are getting excited and are looking forward to seeing our boys playing against the likes of Carrickmore, Dromore and Errigal.

I just hope we can hold our nerves in the final games and not let the occasion to us. For it would be a crying shame to be leading the league the whole year, just to fall at the final hurdle.

I wish I was able to make the game this Saturday.
