i see shandonagh proved they have what it takes to win the championship beating ballymore by 8 points.shandonagh dominated midfield and played magical football with duffy man of the match.ballymore had a man sent off but at that stage it was all over.ballymore to get relegated.

sunday results:
shan 1-11 ballymore 0-6
cfcw 3-8 bgore 1-7.
no surprise shan beating ballymore. huge win for cfcw, thought this game was going to be a lot closer to be honest. wins for tubberclair shan and cfcw wil this leave those 3 as favourites for qualification for the knockouts?.
any reports for any of the inter games over the weekend??

good wins for shandonagh, finea, tubberclair, tang. any thoughts. wouldnt take much notice of the bridge, they just about beat a poor kilbeggan side missing many players.

Maneater, can you tell me how a team (shandonagh) prove they can win the championship by simply winning their first round match? This was against Ballymore who would not be one of the favourites for winning the Championship.

was at the st marys and killbeggan game and as a neutral i found it to be a vintage game of football also i feel killbegan were very hard done by, a few decisions by a second rate ref went against them.. i feel if they can grind out a few results in the next couple of games they could prove to be outsiders in this championship.

Would Healy not have to get a transfer back to the Bridge? He played a handful of games for salthill. I don't think club football would be high on his agenda. All the same if he came back he's be a boost to the Bridge.

shandonagh definetly have what it takes to go all the way this year, followed closely by tubberclair Ballinagore and CFCW/Tang. Dont think bal will do it this year and i think Kilbeggan will run them close on Sunday and it might be a shock defeat for bal. Shandonagh to win intermediare this year handy enough.

I was half right it was tight for 30mins,St marys turned out very easy 8pt winners, people on this site tipping them for relegation must be slightly embarressed. With David Mitchell and Adam Nolan to come back,Damien Healy getting match fit ya never know??Any other scores
