Think we're going a bit overboard in the praise of some of Derry's musical talent but Airplane Landing do have one of the funniest songs I've heard in their song Saunter! Mad muckers taking the ****...

DBPC no one fromn Derry is going around saying 'we are the best, eveyone is jealous of us'...come to think of it, a certain person on here does lack modesty.

Its not a reknowned rivraly as such, it's always nice to beat them, but not the worst team in the world to lose to.

It depends how much Derry want to get to league final (not that much), and how much Donegal want to stay up (quite alot by the looks of things), I think on paper Derry should win convincingly however Donegal won't take it lying down, I still think at home and with the defeat by Tyrone lingering Derry might pull it out of the bag. Derry by 2 (but don't quote me on it!)

John Boss County: Tyrone Posts: 251 252478 There is no denying some wonderful aspects of Derrys history. Nadine may not be amongst the countys greatest but only she has some amazing footsteps to follow not least two nobel winners. I'd be a bigger fan however of the lovely Cara Dillon from Dungiven: I don't know who Nadine is but I am not a Cara Dillon fan. I know loads of people rave about her but she sounds nasally to me. Ireland has a host of fine female singers. I think Mary Black stood out because she had a marvellous backing band, well organised by Declan. John Mitchell? I thought he was County Down, but I do know that he turned his attentions to defending slavery in the USA after being deported from Ireland. Amazing that, you would have thought he might have defended liberty.
