Yes your correct about young murphy and some tyrone fans and the same every where and bad monkey for you to suggest it started in 03 well your wrong but it is getting worse. Holymoly not sure what can be done about it at this stage very hard to crack down on something like that. And i see louth fan saying some players deserve it well they do not deserve it from poeple like you .

It all started in 03 never heard any booing on the hill

Think this is a wind-up but i'll respond anyways.
Have to disagree there tomaoo7. Tyrone players taking frees in '05 got booed at I believe.

lads just to make the point, what about your beloved rugby? theres plenty of threads on here about how rugby this that and the other regarding respect etc.. its actually got the worst crowd booing of any sport. have a listen next time someone is taking a kick in millennium stadium! on a side note id say its actually more off putting for kickers to have complete silence a la thomond. my opinion would be that this is all a bit of a storm in a teacup.

Cavan_slasher.Well yes they were. Ask Kerry/Offaly fans who were at 1960 and 1961 finals. In fairness they have improved over the years.

ah typical somethins not right ine the gaa blame soccer! booing happened long before soccer became televised and so did diving so its about time the gaa took reponsibilty instead of blaming soccer we can go one way or the other.
accept it as banter and accept that the est players will ram it down the throats of thos doing it
or
ban it and fine co boards when it happens

hill 16 dubs are brutal at it .laois aswell seem to like to boo quite alot aswell .at l;ast years leinster minor semi final between offaly and wexford in wexford park wexford fans booed the young offaly free taker from his first kick to his last which is in very bad taste for a minor match.

i dont totally disagree with it,individual players being targeted is wrong, booing your own team is wrong your there to support not put them down no matter how bad they are playing.
the other side of the coin is this how many teams in different sports over the years have applauded their supporters for their efforts during the game and lets say in gaa terms being reffered to as the 16th man.applauding a miss of the opposition isnt that bad it gives your team a bit of heart to get the ball away from their own goals and do damage down the other end when they know their own support is still there for them.i think the booing before free kicks has always been there, its no worse than ever as far as i can see
