istolethegiro County: Tyrone Posts: 38 He wasnt so quiet when he responded to the abuse he got of the ball by scoring the equaling point...Shows a great player with great discipline not to react to the clonoe players I am not saying clonoe football is dirty. They played good football parts of the time and fair play to them

If we targeted jordan for "playing well" surely mellon would have got worse treatment for being even better on the day jordan got a hard time from the word go for being disrespectfull to our players once again.I would not consider clonoe any dirtier or harder than any other team, there is not a team in the county that would not respond to this type of behaviour get over it and move on i will guarntee this is not the first time or the last time this will happen against moy no matter who plays them dont think i ever seen this current moy team ever playing when a team stands up to them i.e killdress and trillick are two that springs to mind castlewellan 7's another, quit yapping and get on with it. Leaving the field i overheard a current county players father commenting on "our boys" got no protection did he want us not to challenge them.

I don't know what grievance you have against Jordan because you must have been at a different match than me,to say he was disrespectful from start to finish is totally untrue.I thought he showed a great deal of restraint not to assault anybody the way he was.A man that was assaulted by at least 4 of ur players, you are very one sided on your reporting, thats not taking into account the man that hit him when he was going into the changing rooms are the man that told his son to fire a bottle at him when he was walking of the field. You wood be better looking at the way some of the people in ur own club behaved etc the county final last year are the constanting mouthing at the county players on sunday are the 5 or 6 people who went after the referee on sunday to give him verbal abuse. But would have to say colm cav was lucky to stay on the field. Was a great game with great intensity for this time of the year.Would have to say the moy surprised me though thought clonoe would have won handy enough.

I was not aware some one tried to hit jordan coming of the field which is not on by any accounts. Out of the five or six people who went to sludden after the game one was the umpire who was by no way aggresive towards him and 3 out the other five was making sure the other two eejits did not get near the ref to abuse him or worse every club has these people what can you do only get rid of them but how with out causing a split within your club never thought sunday was overly dirty hard for sure but if you want to go anywhere you have to put up with this Moy wit a full team on there day will be hard to beat they are a big strong team they stop up well for themselves which sometimes you have to do. Here is a question for everyone.......... Has the pressures or paid managers left club football in a nearly win at all costs attitude????

I agree , Moy will be a difficult game for most this year. Although its not hard to raise your game for the county champions. Its the lesser games against the so-called weaker opposition they may struggle in . They also ( i believe ) have to play 4 games without their county players which is very difficult with such a small panel. Went to the game sunday and enjoyed it a lot. Thought the ref may have blown her up at the scuffle and gift Clonoe the points - was that what Clonoe were thinking too?

Christ man if it was blown up both teams would have been destroyed. Come championship against ardboe big sean cavanagh full forward ardboe have possiblely the worst full back in senior football they could get goals. Big brady handled him well on sunday all the same.

Lad Brady did well all right but ball into cavanagh in 1st half was rubbish! Sean only started to play when brought out to the half forward line in second half ( which is where I would like to see him line out for tyrone - assuming o'Neill fit). Brady did make a brilliant catch in the first half. On his day and getting decent ball Cavanagh is practically impossible to mark. Thought Clonoe no 5 Shane Coney ? was most influential player on the pitch and had unbelievable first half.

Believe it or not if we had all our players available to us i.e damian burke david hanna and cairan lynch he probaly would not even get his place this year but may be hard to shift now.
