Sunday 05th April 2009 SFL 1 Devenish 0-8 0-12 Tempo (Melvin boys a bit too lack lustre - Tempo deserved win) Roslea 1-9 2-6 Belcoo (Humpty Dumpties ready for a slide as they could only draw as per my prediction!) Comment re Kinawley v Irvinestown was censored so here is a revised comment:

SFL 2

Kinawley 2-11 2-9 Irvinestown (St Molaise, the better team was disadvantaged by some decisions - remember we humilated Kinawley beating them at home at the end of last season)

Just a quick congrats to Ekn Gaels. A great start to their league campaign. Was surprised that Belcoo did not come out on top and not surprised by Coa's single point offering today. Heard that Ederney were unlucky not to win and it does not look good for Devenish to lose at home so early in the season after their good showing last season.

Was at the Newtown Ederney match and newtown put a lot of wides, Ederney done absolutly nothing in the second half...They had a good first half winning by 3 points at the interval but newtown woke up in the second

SFL 1 Devenish 0-8 0-12 Tempo (very good win for tempo, Devenish maybe have an eye on the cship?) Roslea 1-9 2-6 Belcoo (Good result for belcoo, roslea 9 up at ht and result could cost them at end of year) Derrygonnelly 0-9 0-14 Enniskillen (Gaels win with a tyrone player) Newtownbutler 1-10 1-7 St. Josephs (ederney will lose a lot of games by a thin margin) St. Patricks 0-11 1-7 Teemore (teemore missing a lot and an ageing team SFL 2 Aughadrumasee 0-7 2-10 Erne Gaels (belleek will pus for phromo) Derrylin 0-13 1-14 Brookeboro (Derrylin are poor) Kinawley 2-11 2-9 Irvinestown (kinawley win grudge match as expected. irvinstown can look to a div 3 final) Lisnaskea 2-12 0-1 Coa (tough start for coa, thought they might show up better though)

southferm I too was at the game and St Joseph's were leading 1-5 t0 0-1 having missed a penalty and numerous wides. In the 2nd half Newtownbutler were laughing at the fact they got so many dubious frees. Even your number 11 couldn't believe his luck when he accidently fell over, Ederney were penalised! So much for the referee's lack of liasom with his officials. At the end your own Newtownbutler supporters admitted their team were lucky to get out of jail. Irrespective of the final result, Ederney gave a good account of themselves in this their 1st game in division one.

Correct score was Lisnaskea 2.11 Coa 0.07. The score at half time was Skea 0.04 Coa 0.03. Coa reduced to 14 men in second half, with our main free taker going off injured before half time. Good showing in first half, but intensity off first 10 minutes in second half showed, we missed easy frees and a penalty. But no excuses in this one, Skea will go straight up again. And we will continue to compete.

Coa poster I wouldnt like you to be a sports reporter. Such a biased spin you should be a spin doctor! The truth is that Skea only fielded a sub or junior side introducing our most experienced footballers as the game went on. Coa as usual were dirty and paid the penalty for doing so. We will investigate one your player's idenity and inform the CCC if our suspicions are correct. Your viewers on here should look at the final result which sums up the truth that being that Coa were well beaten.

Shamgael you were not at the A'drumsee/Erne Gaels match so you are not qualified to comment on it.
It was an easy start to the league for Bellek with no real pressure which the final outcome shows.
Things look good for us this seson with some useful players in tow.
Skea lad it me be worth you whike to contact us regarding Coa's mystery player(s) as we have come across the same issue in the U21s.
Best to take photos as we were about to do but Coa packed up and left withoiut explanation on that occasion.

I have been told today that Roslea would have whacked the humpty dumpties only for the current turmoil in the club with players not pulling together. Is anyone surprised to hear that Coa may have used players not qualified to play or registered to play. I notice that there is no comment from the clocklanders who were lucky not to have several players red carded.

Fermfave you havnt the guts to stand up and say where you are from so you must be ashamed of your club!

Looking at my predictions and yours I'll let the people judge who was best at it ...you were badly off the mark many times!

Coa_gael you have some cheek slagging off Derrygonnelly. Stand back lad and look at your own outfit before voicing an opinion about others that you know nothing about.

Derrylin are only a junior side without Mark Murphy. It was him who won them games for years. What are these reports of unrest in Roslea about?

Thought st.pats got a lucky start to the season with a 1 point win against a slow, unfit teemore team. Last minute free won it for them which dropped over the bar after mcdermot stole a few yards. Main talking point was after the match when verbal abuse towards the teemore team going into the changing rooms turned into an ugly fight between the teemore men and the locals, Fair play to the st.pats team who stayed out of it to be fair. Question has to be asked though, why where there supports allowed anywhere near the teams going into the changing rooms. Surely the county board should look in to this and the suitable punishment dealt out to st.pats whos supports badly let them down.
