make that 6, St Agnes might fancy their chances too.

Couple of big teams will go out in the 1/4 final though with St Enda's playing Rasharkin and St Theresa's playing probably Cloughmills if they overcome McDermotts.

What about senior championship now??? Cargin falling apart??? Or trying to lull St Gall's into false sense of security??? Great win for Johnnies...where the heck did that come from??? House on St Gall's for me!!!

Armagh Paddy

My mistake, though Armagh have a couple of decent hurling club teams. Anyway not sure about Junior football as for the seniors, St Galls big favourites, Cargin will be their main contendors come Championship time.

ouch, didnt we do well against our rivals gort na mona. Fair play to gorts they were very honorable in defeat and I for one hope they can salvage something from their season. Anyway, i watched cargin and st brigids, I didnt get see lamh dhearg but i hear they were fantastic and now creggan are gone, so isnt this interesting. St galls and cargin will face of and I think if the game is played a casement then st galls will win but if its out in the sticks cargin will win. Either way one of the favourites are gone, that is if st galls get past portglenone which at time of writing, I dont think they will. NAOMH POL ABU.

yes NEAS, my apologies, i was presuming st galls and cargin will meet considering you have such fantastic teams and that the draw would deem it so. Yes I watched as St Galls destroyed portglenone. I dont think st johns will beat st galls, but then again......... wasnt the portglenone keeper of form today? normally quite reliable. anyway, it only matters in championship!.

Correct and right Gabby...but let's look at the calibre of hurling teams in the competition!!! St Gall's, Moneyglass and St Teresa's are my predictions from the start and all 3 came through with flying colours...nothing to change my mind!!!

Im willing to put my neck on the line, St johns will give provide a much tougher opposition to st galls than portgleone did, They beat them in the league, and I dont think the johnnies are to far short of a surprise this year. New managment, I hope they really give the galls a good hard match. I also think that st johns physically are on par with cargin, and I dont think cargin like playing them.

Yes of course Gabby our hurlers gave a good showing against Glenravel, and with a few regulars missing and guess what, we had a number of Hurlers who played on Friday night playing against Cargin on saturday in Football, GO YOU ANTRIM CCC. Im am getting really fed up with these fixtures. This county operates in the dark ages, I think I may start going to the privvy out of the window. Why I may even get a job as bubonic plague death merchant, 'BRING OUT YER DEAD' ( if this offends any person who lived during the great plague 1340's, There is no malice intended'. ) Gabby I take your remark tongue in cheek as that was how it was intended, correct? excellent, moving swiftly on,-- I am confident our hurlers will raise their game and we go into this as underdogs so fingers crossed we will be in casement for another final this year. Can we please start a petition against these daft fixtures. Naomh POL abu.
