Is it just me or are a lot of contributors now afraid to do so given that their e-mail address is now on record, not so anonymous now are we chaps?

I think it's just the fact that it's so much more complicated...don't worry, the mouthing and rumour mill will be back soon!

I think you may have a very valid point there.

The fact that it is more complicated may also limit some of our message posters, specifically the txt msg wrtrs, you know the ones who do not use vowels.

Perhaps this may mean that debate may be a little bit more interesting, though somehow I doubt it.

Don't be so sure about getting round the anonymous posting they can simply make an e-mail address up? But I would expect the moderator has the power to ban people though.

In terms of putting up a bum e-mail address you must use a true one as an e-mail isent to the e-mail address so that you may activate your account.

Anywho enough about who is going to be using the site let's get things rolling with predictions for the championships this year. Oh and by the way these are only predictions intended to provoke debate, hopefully the usual old nonsense we used to get by way of replies will have gone.

In relation to the last post that Cargin will be senior champions, i would disagree entirely. In fact i can't see them getting past the new kids of st brigids in the first round. Would be shocked if st galls don't retain the title.

Glenravel to win IFC? Doubt it very much and can only see the con magees continuing their downward spiral. Moneyglass or Glenavy to reign supreme here.

I do agree however that this will be St aggies year in the JFC.

JFC: Aggies getting touted quite a lot.

Looking at draw would fancy McD's to come through from their side. Possibly an Aggies v McD's decider.

Any views on this, perhaps not as important as SFC and IFC but important to those particpating!

McD's are still keeping the flame lit.

No the boys who left didn't return, best of luck to them, they decided they were bettering themselves.

The die-hards are still keeping things going and with any luck we will certainly have a bette season than we did last year in football and hopefully be competitive in hurling.

For that's what it's all about, competing. It's funny how when we were flying a couple of years ago people were still giving us a lot of stick on this website. And when we teetered and were about to fall we got sympathy. Stange how things work in Antrim G.A.A. circles, perhaps peopel don't like winners.

Call me boring but this years senior championship winners will just be a repeat on last years. i.e. st galls for the football and dunloy for the hurling. I watched a few cames in both codes last year and from what ive seen there doesnt appear to be any real threats to these two dominant sides! Obviously people will have different opinions but trust me, mines is right and yours is wrong lol

Cargin will not win the Senior Championship? Just shows how much you know about football! How can you rule out a team like that! Pathetic!!

Great to see the structure for the new board, been crying out for it for a long time. hopefully it improves the quality of debate and all round chat with regards our games in the county. anyhow to the issue at hand Senior Football Championship- St Galls Really feel the only team to challenge them are Cargin and even at that i think it would have to be in a similar scenario to 2 years ago when they caught them cold in the first round, cant see anyone getting near them Intermediate Football Championship- Moneyglass/ Ballymena(next best) Depending on how Moneyglass approach this i dont see too much trouble for them, although they fell early lastyear to glenavy they still have by far the most quality in the competition. Agree also that they shouldnt really be in the competition but thats a matter for another day. Think Ballymena could trouble alot of the other teams and be a surprise winner, big physical side which is a big plus at this level, were their scores are going to come from is a worry though. Senior Hurling Championship- Cushendall Just think they will be more hungry and bettered prepared than us(Dunloy) this year, can see us suffering from an All Ireland hangover and of course the older you get the harder it gets to come back. That teamed with the fact Cushendall have 8-9 plyers on the senior county panel should see them in great shape. Still a battle of the best forward group in the county(Dunloy) Vs the best defensive group(Cushendall), with all due respect to Loughgiel i really cant see them winning the championship, like iv said before on the old board they are on their day capable of beating both Cushendall and Dunloy, but to win this championship they will have to beat both and cant see that happening. As for the championships i have not mentioned it is truthfully because i am not in a position to comment as i dont know much about the teams involved etc.. Sohere you have it, a Dunloy man tipping the Dall to take our crown.. we wont give it up easy mind you. Any thoughts?

cargin all the way for the SFC this year - they're a classy side - write them off at your peril!
