With the state of some pitches and the Glorious weather we get all year round I doubt anybody would know if they were Green,White or Gold. Personally I only had one choice back in the seventies Black with 1 1/2ince studs scary stuff.

What is wrong with Pink, gold, silver, white or black boots.? I mean really, have you a gender hang up or what?

Does it matter what colour of boots someone wears?

I know Gerry McInerney and myself wore white boots. In my case because they were really cheap because no-one else would wear them.

Always had an eye for a bargain.

Only DIY glory hunters wear golden boots. Seriously think about it! They belong to super ego soccer players, no place in the GAA. I've had the pleasure of playing against a couple of lads wearing Golden boots. They obviously thought that they could mark me or something because of their foot wear. Golden boots me ****. Down with this sort of thing.

If it was against the Dubs then yes.. if it was a Dub then I would just have to accept it I guess but it would be with a heavy heart. I hate gold boots.
