It has to be Simon Geoghegan. Imagine what he would have been like if he had a few more decent players around him. Yop (Wexford) - Posts: 362 - 15/04/2009 16:38:44 257941 Link 0 |
The bull..... the unsung hero of irish success might but dodgy in the scrum because of his hight but no better man to clean up a ruck and lift in a line out think o'connell said he actually throws him into the air and catches him on the way down. Close second is quinny, obiously a fellow tipp man but the no better player to get under the skin of the opposition he dosen't brake rules he just bends them a bit at times ;) Hag_and_Cheese (Tipperary) - Posts: 6103 - 15/04/2009 23:51:32 258510 Link 0 |
jailhouse and denzel, thanks for that info regarding Elwood, i learn something new every day! i had asked my older brother who's 31 about it a few nights ago but like me he was unsure - I would've only been 6 or 7 at the time - I'd say we might have the programme of that match somewhere at home, I kept them all down through the years - I'm terrible for hoarding old GAA/Soccer memorabilia!
