donaghmore still the only unbeaten team. but still just scrapping throught their games. and an unconvinving draw against a weak stewartstown. surely they cant b contenders?

what happened ardboe minors this year in the championship, thought they mite have been in for a good run in grade 2 after winners of grade 1 last year. nevr heard what newtonstewart were like but surely ardboe where favorites for that

The match between Donaghmoore and stewartstown was a complete joke. Donaghmore pitch was probably one of the worst pitches i have seen in a long time, and you may feel that as donaghmore were at home they may have been a bit more used to the conditions however Donaghmore hit 21 wides and missed 3 one on ones with the goalie. And the statement saying that the stewartstown were a weakened team is unbelievable, only 2 of there 7 injured players did not play a part in the game, and if it was not for a lucky Goal at the death (which in my opinion looked to be a square ball) Stewartstown would have lost.

ardboe fell apart in the championship because of their small panel. their real quality player shay mcguigan was injured and they had two other starters suspended. throw into that they were exposed in key positions aka centre back and goalie.

2of7injured players?full back-paul bayne out.midfeilder-kevin donnelly out.centre half forward-caolan coyle-out.these 3 played no part.a half-fit ryan devlin came on as did a half-fit ferghal oneill.ronan oneill wasn injured but was being rested for seniors.as for the lucky goal it was kicked across the goal and full forward rose highest to punch to the net?but granted d,more had many missed oppertunities but only 6 more than s,town. wudn read a huge pile into that game except that with full teams out and dry pitch it might be a whole different story.

newtownstewart definatly outplayed ardboe, ardboe's gameplan just didnt work they tried to work the newton full back line by hitting in high ball to their huge full forward line but newton coped well and made their chances count.

ardboe lost to many great players from last years team and this year in this section, were either not strong enough all round or just plain and simple unlucky.. d'more the once spoken unstopable team from their past 2 matches ive watched..derrylaughan and stewartstown... are to be honest not as good as they make out to be. they seem to be a very fit team but other than that..not a great side... the derrylaughan game- derrylaughan were all over them and should of beat them even without liam girvin..BIG miss... but the stewartstown game- stewartstowns bench- ceolan coyle(center half foward) ronan oneill(full foward) kevin donelly (midfield) fergal oneill (center half back) paul bean (full back) ryan devlin (right half foward) -- ronan oneill came on for second half, ryan devlin and half fit fergal oneill came on at 55mins played... just before they came on left half foward james campbell came of with a calf injury... so nothing more to be said.. it would most definitly of been a different match with full teams... still dont know if stewartstown have what it takes to go the full way thow... greencastle for championship and league

Dont worry, Stown always have excuses... and how can they blame a bad pitch with that thing they call a pitch. Surely they shud be used to playin on a rubbish pitch. Think the championship semis will be dmore, greencastle, beragh and us. dunno who i'd want there, all good teams who cud win it all. Dmore be careful tho, dtresk are prob the 2nd best team in 2A after urselves. that'll be a good game in the 1/4 finals.

rocklegend nobody from stown blame the pitch...it was bad for both teams?and i can assure you that theyre happy with a deserved draw...plus on the previous page a moy man refered to the moys problems=from what ive heard= gonga off long before the half, micheal devlin broke his fingers, paul bayne out, kevin donnelly out, caolan coyle off with 15left???no excuses level playing field...but as for your tip on the cship greencastle look hard t beat, summer football and these two teams probaly meeting eachother with full squads should be tasty...moy cant be over looked, same with dtresk...dmore and us yet to establish themselves???

I do believe our minors did beat use twice in a short space of time last year..am I right?and also our minor lads are not complaining we settled for the draw last week due to the large number of players injured. For all ur wingin that ur doin y are use not top of the table?

beragh unknown quantity to me as well buh S'town are no push overs should be a tight game
D'more have home advantage should win it no problem they have a stronger team than D'Tresk
Hard one to call could go either way, think home advantage will suit rock, Galbaly have few good players
Don't know any of these teams from what i hear G'Castle will take it they hammered them in the league away from home
