From what the commentator said last night in setanta, the management dropped the two players mention because of disciplinary reasons.

Well done to the management for putting foot down. We will never achieve anything until everyone is completely committed.

thats interesting. is there any reason why the Donegal team didnt shop up on the pitch until 5 minutes before the throw in?

I have been informed by a reliable source that Kevin Cassidy, Eammon Mc Gee, Colm Mc Fadden, Ciaran Bonner and Kevin WAPPA Mc Mennamin were dropped from the Donegal team to play Tyrone. Bonner and Wappa have been dropped from the pannel altogether while the rest are on there final warning with the managment team. We need commited players and John Joe Doherty will be ruthless with the troublemakers.

donegal_insider, iv heard that too.
What reasons were these guys dropped for?

Its a shame if ciaran bonner is dropped, he was playing some good stuff so far this year even thoguh the team was not performing well

There should be no second chances anyway, these same player's get chances every year. It should be a case of one strike and your out, and jj should have made it clear from the beginning. Its time to move with the times, would you be getting second chances every year with any of the top teams (i dont think so).

To be honest i don't know what they are supposed to have to done (or not done) this time but here's a thought. A couple of weeks ago John Terry and Ashley Cole were according to reports out drunk on a Wednesday night with an important cup match on the Saturday and vital champions league match on the Tuesday. Ciaran Bonner and Kevin Mc Menamin are unemployed, the dole is something like 205 euro, Terry and Cole earn 120,000 and 80,000 big ones. Cole was arrested that night as well and missed training the next day. So the next time you see your local county player in a bar having a heineken or vodka and red bull just chill the beans ok.

Hard to beat an oul rumour even if there is no smoke without fire? Will JJ have to bring him back from London same as McIvor did from Boston through ineptitude from previous incumbent? Amazing a wee guy who was good enough for McIvor but apparently not for a 3rd div manager? What exactly was the role of his previous and current club manager in all this?
