1.Who is the best u16 player? Tony Gibbons Athy
2.Who will win the u16 league?Celbridge will finish unbeaten in the league.
3.Who will win the u16 championship?Athy will perform upset after upset and beat Clane in a great match in Newbridge in the final.

easy to see where your from egan18? will you ever try give an honest opinion instead of talkin about yourself and your club.. Athy 16s are lookind strong as are Naas and Celbridge. i dont rate Clane in this competition whatsoever. Very open competition this year. as for best player Tony Gibbons has to spring to mind. Excellent in the minor final which is tough for any player when only 15 years of age

clane missing a few key players....not de same team they were when they won the ALL IRELAND FEILE...they have alot of experience at this grade....and they have probley the best 4-5 players in the county at this age( barry egan, kevin giblin, dillion gaffney, chris forest, cian kilkenny)

Clane are a bit cocky there all talk i can say it now CLANE WONT WILL ANYTHING. your man above mentioning 5 players that are good and im only rate barry egan out of the 5 where celbridge are strong all over the pitch with shane mc namara in goal liam mc donagh conor brady fergal conway dillon corcoran and jordan morrisey. dont really no the athy lads this age group but im sure there better than clane unless celbridge have it easy

Danny O'Driscoll is a very good u16 player.He is underated.Gavin Farrell (castledermot). As for the championship I'd have me money on a clane celbridge final. Athy dont really have a chance. A div2 team that may go far is St.Kevins.

Best player........ Gavin Farrell / Kev Giblin U16 League........ Clane. Won their first four games. They are looking good and only complacency will see them lose the league. U16 Championship......... Clane/ Celbridge. Cant see anyone else winning it, although depending on the draw Athy could reach the final and on their day they could beat anyone but I dont feel that they are consistent enough. Depend heavily on Tony Gibbons. Surprise.......... Sarsfield. Not much talk of them but they have a decent team and a good work ethic. Dont think that St Kevins will do much good because they are playing too many players who are U14 and U15.

Dillon Gaffney v Tony Gibbons. Only one winner Joeyboy. Thats Gaffney. Gibbons will find out what its like to mark the counties best midfielder.

u 16 champianship: DEFINITELY not athy.they are shocking.Celbridge hammered them tonight.
Celbridge winners in the final against clane.
and I dont no why people are saying newbridge have a chance. them people dont no anything about football.

Celebridge are always strong at this age group and have shown it in thier good league form.Bet Athy Thurs night by more than 20 points i was told.

Athy i believe will be much stronger come august for the championship.They still have 2 solid defenders to come back from long term injuries and i can see them going far in it.

the lad above are serious celbridge only team unbeaten so far and hammered athy and u say they wont win anything thats a bit of a joke if u ask me dnt rate clane think there better than wat they are but them and celbridge will be in both finals withou a doubt unless they meet before that
