From what we can see so far this season, pure clean football isn't top of their agenda. ______- bla bla bla. 05/03/2009 12:07:51 zidane County: Galway Posts: 28 224580 why dont all the tyrone guys just post their messages on the tyrone forum and just leave the main messageboard alone _____ Because people like your fellow county-man post complete and utter rubbish about our footballers which needs to be highlighted and defended. Cut out the nonsense then we'd have nothing to talk about (except how good we are). Why the hell should this forum be for everyone except Tyrone people? This is getting a bit ridiculous with Tyrone supporters. We have at least one post like this every week and I think that people are fedup of them and that's possibly the reason that Tyrone supporters and their supporters get so much grief in posts. so colinwex..i am very interested to hear your view on the prendergast suspension??...or are you gonna go back into your shell like your fellow compatriots in the south-east...is mcmenamin's offence on a par with prendergasts?...if you believe so, on what basis would you make that distinction, and finally what do you believe both suspensions should be?..i'll be very interested to hear your response.... mayotyroneman (Tyrone) - Posts: 1821 - 05/03/2009 14:25:44 224728 Link 0 |
Agree totally with Colin Wex. McMenamin is a fine footballer, but what he did must be severely punished. No man should be subjected to that on the football field. If Ryan feels this way about Galvin, maybe he should take it up off the pitch?? Anyway, he lives on the edge and this time he fell over, Prendergast was out of order, has been punished and accepts his punishment. Might I also add that the previous acceptance of his fate by John Mullane has paved the way and should have been taken on by other players out there? curious George (Offaly) - Posts: 861 - 05/03/2009 14:40:13 224752 Link 0 |

i think that for all those who are complaining about tyrone, its just a matter of them being jealous of the success that tyrone has had in the last 5 years. and they continue to complain because they know that tyrone are still a threat, how big of a threat will be decided in the later stages of the championship. but the all ireland champion from the previous year is always a threat. yankeegael (USA) - Posts: 11 - 05/03/2009 23:02:26 225274 Link 0 |

Yeah right! Jealous of 3 All Irelands in the last 125 years, Wexford have more football All Irelands than Tyrone, I rest my case ___________ PJ, take a big deep, calm breath. Then relax. Then re-read yank's post. He said that he thought some people are "jealous of the success that tyrone has had in the last 5 years" - that's the last three years. Not 125 years, but since the senior team won their first AI just over 5 years ago. We apologise for not being successful since 1884 - we've had some problems up here, you might have heard about them.
