Great thread - a real eye opener to some narrow and delusional minds. It's actually embarrassing. Omaghjoe, as we say in the capital... I'm scarleh for yeh! Floops (Dublin) - Posts: 1623 - 03/03/2009 11:55:36 222763 Link 0 |

6 weeks was about right. 8 weeks was probably a little message for others who may be thinking of appealing suspensions later in the year. What Mcmeninin did was hardly the worst thing he ever did in his career, the only difference is that he got caught on camera doing it this time. The camera doesnt catch the verbal that he goes on with constantly thru games. Take nothing away from the man's footballing ability, he is one of the toughest and best defenders in the country, but he also can be despicable at times Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3853 - 03/03/2009 15:43:18 223002 Link 0 |

As a very proud Tyrone man I enjoy my football and Hurling I have always had good banter with opposing fans at matches, shaking their hands before and after matches ,sharing a pint win or lose so for me this Anti Tyrone brigade don't represent the GAA Family and am saddened that any posts get on here which stirs hatred , sectarianism and racists . We will judge Tyrone after our encounter this weekend. From what we can see so far this season, pure clean football isn't top of their agenda. WestRules (Galway) - Posts: 271 - 05/03/2009 09:46:26 224463 Link 0 |
Weastrules, i think thats a wee bit of a generalisation. Anyway for the game its self you are meeting a much depleted Tyrone squad ,but i think even at that Galway will struggle to get the win . I think its a difficult one to call , but i would wager that Galway will not have a better chance of seein off Tyrone this year. With two fully fit squads i believe Galway would`nt stand much of a chance. Their defence for me is much too porous. gaelantrim (Antrim) - Posts: 1616 - 05/03/2009 10:49:01 224508 Link 0 |
