Galway mmmmm. Get off your high horse. In 1980 Ballycastle lost by 3 points to a fabulous Castlegar team backboned by the Connolly's (including the best Galway player of all time, John Connolly). Galway won the All-Ireland senior title that year too. bredaghman (Down) - Posts: 98 - 28/10/2010 13:25:13 804972 Link 0 |

we have a decent enough record with glaway clubs. played Athenrye twice, one win and on defeat, and Portumna twice, one win and one defeat. Also played sarfields, drawing the first game and losing the replay. Dunloyrealist (Antrim) - Posts: 498 - 28/10/2010 16:28:11 805110 Link 0 |

Gerry Mc Inerney and Joe Cooney were fine players,Antrim could have used them. bushwhacker (Antrim) - Posts: 261 - 28/10/2010 20:02:29 805365 Link 0 |

mmmmmmmm.............If we were all mathematicians like you we'd be in a worst state,1980 is only 30 years ago not 40.Now that the"Celtic Tiger" has gone back to the jungle is no excuse for lowering your educational standards. bushwhacker (Antrim) - Posts: 261 - 01/11/2010 18:22:36 807413 Link 0 |

This thread is "15 all time greats from Antrim. hurling, football"; however it seems to be hijacked by Galway NNNNNNNNNNNN into something else. Saffron_in_Dub (Antrim) - Posts: 85 - 05/11/2010 17:06:50 810410 Link 0 |

mmmmmmmm............As some else pointed out this forum concerns Antrim players,so butt out,you know nothing about. You have had it easy down through the years, you know nothing about the hardship and problems that teams up here had trying to keep the games going during troubled times.your biggest problem was probably where to borrow a donkey and a set of panniers to bring the turf home from the bog in Connemara. bushwhacker (Antrim) - Posts: 261 - 05/11/2010 19:14:19 810526 Link 0 |
