re: cobby lyons. from your previous comment about pallaskenry just making up the subs bench on the kilulta team shows me that you have not seen them play and you are just goin on what others say. you will find the team sheet on www.pallaskenrygaa.com. when you do you will realise that there were 6 starting from pallas not even including shane hayes who lives in pallas. there was also 6 from kildimo and the 2 who come from kilcornan. so your comments are rubbish. johno87 (Limerick) - Posts: 39 - 02/05/2009 22:02:11 274028 Link 0 |

Well Cobby Lyons looks like you got it all wrong with that game. From what I saw of the game Anthony Mulvihill seemed to be in front of his man all day, Ian Ryan lorded midfield with a tally of 1-5, Ray O Flaherty seemed to be too big for Cian Hayes pocket with a tally of 3 points and man of the match Dave Finnerty ran the show in the back line for St. Senans. Anyone else see a bit of injustice when a senior football team who competed in last year's county semi final participates in the "b" grade of the competition? Surely this was not what this grade is suppossed to be about? I would imagine that other clubs with less of a football pedigree would be feeling a little perplexed at this. Also just wondering how the other finalists were allowed to amalgamate considering they are from two separate divisions? Surely Kilcornan could have amalgamated with ballysteen and pallaskenry with kildimo separately? dodgyknee (Limerick) - Posts: 129 - 06/05/2009 14:32:35 276221 Link 0 |
kilcornan havent had underage at this age group since u 13..some of their players joined kildimo when this happened and have played with them all along so they're technically kildimo players living in kilcornan.. mclurkey5 (Limerick) - Posts: 11 - 06/05/2009 14:49:37 276240 Link 0 |
lads just want to say congrats to my club abbeyfeale on there fantastic win sunday night night in mountcollins. They showed great spirit when hartnett got sent off and the injuries to billy and james in the first half along with the sending off of mossie in the second half. They were always in control of the game from the very first minute and thats a credit to there talent. Well done lads. fealesider (Limerick) - Posts: 12 - 07/05/2009 15:07:56 277268 Link 0 |
