(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Don't know their names, but at half time in croker you often see lads lining out in their county colours under the guise of bun scoil, and some of these lads are barely 3ft !! Worse still, mixed sex teams !! Whats the world coming to

213765 smallest midfielder had 2 be our own mickey quinn 1990 allstar aswell

Having watched Mickey Quinn for 20 odd years I wouldn't have called him small. Maybe not in the mould of run of the mill midfielders, but certainly not small. Had you said "one of the best midfielders" I would have agreed 100%.

In Carlow we always have too many small players. But smallest of all has to be wee Willie Quinlan who played with Carlow from about 93-2003. Still playing on Eire Og seniors & starring in leinster club championship a few months ago at age of 41.
Maybe being so tiny stops you feeling old or something i dunno, but he is one of the fittest guys at the club even still!!!
