Gold Cup - probably the best jumps race I've ever seen. The 2005 Champion Hurdle was brilliant but today was something special. The great clash that was supposed to materialise twelve months ago was really on as they went down the back straight today. At that point, I knew we were in for a great climax. Probably Kauto Star's greatest ever performance and I hope the handicapper rates him higher than Master Minded. Assuming Exotic Dancer ran to his very best, Kauto in the 190s. Denman a spent force? Never. Ran excellent too. But what a race, be a long time before anyone sees anything like that ever again.

Also a pity about Ebadiyan. He was in the process of running a big race when he ran out. I couldn't fault John Cullen, there was nothing he could have done. But back next year for the Champion Hurdle!

If Walkon had have won, I would have made a fortune. In the end I only finished Eu100 down but had Kauto Star not won, it would have been a disaster. I had my biggest ever bet on him. I had a Walkon/Kauto Star double too so.

You can watch them in full at racingpost.com for 20c per race.

You they have highlights of each race on their website too which you can watch for free. You may have to be a registered user to watch them but its not hard to register.

Only on the Racing Post site I believe. Normally you would expect to find all the races on YouTube but Racing UK made YouTube take all their videos down around July/August last year since they believed all videos should be exclusive to them (Racing Post and Racing UK are kind of one and the same I think).

If you go to the homepage of the Racing Post site though and under "Media Centre", click the tab "Racing Post Television". You will see all the videos they have which you can watch for free right there. The last mile - at least - of each festival race can be watched there.
