Ballymachugh v Templeport Templeport wont have been boosted by throwing away a win last weekend, Ballymachugh by 2. Corlough v Butlersbridge I fancy Corlough to bounce back from last weeks trouncing get something out of this. Corlough barely or a draw. Cornafean v Shannon Gaels 2 teams having gotten comprehensive victories last week. I think Gaels is the stronger team. By 2. Lara v Swad I think Laragh will expose Swad's weak full back line. Laragh by 3. Bailiboro v Kildalon If Kildallon ever needed a result it's now. They wont go down without a fight. Draw. Arva v muntercunaght Munchies by 5. Kilygary v Mountnugent Mountnugent to win well.

Ballymachugh v Templeport
Ballymachugh will be stung by last weeks defeat so templeport will be in for backlash, 2 physical teams...Ballymac by 3

Corlough v B'Bridge
Home advantage big help for corlough but bridge should just sneak it...Bridge by 1

Cornafean v Shannon Gaels
Should be good game, shannon gaels have fit young team who move the ball fast, reds on a high from last week and should win a tight game...Reds by 2

Laragh v Swadlinbar
Not sure if Laragh have the pace and fitness up the middle for swad....swad by 3

Bailieborough v Kildallan
Kildallan need a win but face a tough test up in bailieborough, home side to continue on their path to div 2....Bailie by 5

Arva v Munchies
Munchies going very well at the moment, have good footballers up the middle and are scoring goals for fun, if arva can keep a clean sheet and home advantage might leave it tight enough....munchies by 2

Killygary v Mountnugent
Killygary's senior team will have played on saturday so they will be able to pack the team, could be a banana skin for mountnugent....draw

Ballymachugh v Templeport
I think Templeport will upset things here and grind out a narrow home victory.

Corlough v Butlersbridge
Bridge will take this one by 3.

Cornafean v Shannon Gaels
Cornefean on a high will be too strong up front for Gaels. Reds by 4.

Lara v Swad
Swad have too much firepower for Laragh. Swad by 5.

Bailiboro v Kildalon
B'boro too strong for a Kildallon team in a rut. Boro by 3.

Arva v Munchies
Think the Munchies will bang in enough goals to win this.

Kilygary v Mountnugent
Killigary to take this one with their senior players.

Ballymachugh beat Templeport by a point. Kieran Mac missing for TP a big loss seriously reduces their attacking threat. Barry Kiernan played very well for Ballymachugh always dangerous.

B'Boro beat Kildallon.

Jecht. You seem like a man who knows junior football inside out. After seeing Ballymachugh at the weekend, what do you reckon the hughs chances of promotion are??

I saw a half each of Templeport v Ballymachugh and Corlough v Bridge.. Templeport drastically improved since i last seen them against Shannon Gaels. Goalie and fullback line very solid. Halfback line probably their strongest asset making great runs forward at times. Midfield done well too, forwards just didnt look up to it. Missing their star forward who seems to be only one of 2 players on the team willing to take on a score themselves.
Ballymachugh looked good, strong midfield keen on checking players running through. Few spritely looking forwards not afraid to shoot. Focusing a lot on their full forward. Thought TP were unlucky not to get a result here. Draw would have been a fairer reflection of play.

Bridge wiped the floor with Corlough in the end.. Bridge with 4 dangerous forwards. Corlough with one class act up front, McGovern as far as i know? Didnt seem to have a plan B though when Bridge kept an eye on him. They marked him sometimes at the expense of leaving another Corlough man loose and still they pumped it into McGovern.

So we have a total reverse from last year as far as west cavan teams are concerned. The Port Kildallen and Corlough who were all floating around the top for long periods last year now stuck down bottom.. And Swad going for the top. Looks like B'Boro wont be beaten.

It looks like the favorites are already pulling away. Big game for Swad against Bailieboro this weekend to keep in touch.
