hopefully d givney will be back playing asap, i dont think there is a culture of taking the oppositions best player out of the game, sounds like a once off, if it was an intentional knee in the head by the bridge player then its a pity the ref didnt see it as the guilty player should be severly punished

Will the bridge hold their nerve for promotion? Corlough look good for div 4 anyway.

Corlough arent gone yet. If they win one game its a 3 way tie between themselves TP and Kildallan.

With 3 games each left and Tport & kildallen to play each other I think Corlough would need at least 2 wins to stay up. Both Tp and Kildallen have 4 points so a draw between themselves and one win for corlough would still see corlough drop. Does anyone know who each team have to play?? Does anyone know if two teams finish on same points does it come down to a play off or does in go on points difference, if it is points difference then Corlough are in trouble here again

Last 3 Games for:

Corlough:
Corlough v Bailieboro
Killygarry v Corlough
Corlough v Mountnugent

Kildallon:
Ballymachugh v Kildallan
Kildallan v Munterconnacht
Templeport v Kildallan

Templeport:
Templeport v Killygarry
Mountnugent v Templeport
Templeport v Kildallan

From the table here and the fixtures above, I can't see Corlough making it. Not sure what happens if they're level on points, but I think that the points difference is taken into account.

All these relegation threatened clubs are after spending a fortune on new grounds and facilities and one of them will play division 4 football next year.. Shame for the rest of us!

Mountnugent beat Corlough 5-11 to 1-8 last night in breffni.
All goals came in second half with Mountnugent FF getting 3 and CHF getting the other 2

I heard the ref had to call it off and award it as a draw because all hell broke loose. Templeport players trying to take Givney out of the game all day and it eventually came to a head..
