Some big games tonight as most of these teams are pushing for promotion. I reckon the Bridge and arva will win! And ballymachugh will also win to throw the whole promotion chase wide open!

balymachugh bet laragh by 1-6 to 1-5. ballymachugh were 1-4 to 0-4 up at half-time . laragh got their goal just after half time to make it a draw. ballymachugh got a point up with 10 minutes left. laragh had 3-4 frees in the last few minutes and missed them all. i tink ballymachugh would have to be favourites for second place now but there's still along way to go.

Ballymachugh have thrown the promotion race wide open with a one point win over Laragh. The points were gained by pure guts and determination and some excellent performances by Richard Fitzsimons, John Fox and Padraig Galligan. This leaves the battle for 2nd extremely interesting . Any thoughts on who will go up?

Was at the ballymachugh and laragh game!ballymachugh deserved their win!laragh very poor and kicked alot of wides some right in front of the goals!ballymachugh were also mising gavin smith who is arguably their key player, their full back and james kiernan who is there top scorer this year also got injured in the first half!laragh players were also rowing among themselves after the game!in my opinion ballymachugh will will by the skin of their teeth finish 2nd!

mountnugent beat arva without givney, a tonic for arva seeing they did such giving out the last time this fixture was called off, reckoning mountnugent were afraid to play without givney...

v important win for kilygarry over munchies, 5 points should be enough to keep them safe, gona be some battle now with corlough/kildallan/templeport to stay up. how can munchies go from beating b'machugh to loosing to kilygarry, i think they dont have a stong enough panel to challenge for honours at the moment

Looks like we'll not know who's going to Divison 4 til the last game of the league with TP v Kildallon... Templeport could save themselves earlier by beating Killigarry but sure that depends on the Killigarry team on the day. Id fancy Kildallon to pick up some points before that though.

some of the fav's arent top form at the moment, are/have shercock lost a few players for the summer, swad seem to have a weak defence, cavan gaels could be very hard beaten, reckon shannon gaels wont be too far behind them

junior championship is very open, mountnugent under sean fitzpatrick, arva under gabriel keogan, reds under gerry cadden, bridge under felim plunkett have all improved a good bit, swad ,shannon gaels, munchies, and the div 2 teams all have a real good chance,9 teams well capable of winning it,it will be interesting.intermediate and senior both 2 or 3 horse races

Yes shercock have lost alot of players this year. 6 players have went away and one has just stoped playing. And this would be 7 of their top players. A big loss to any team.

I see the munchies put a dent in the 100% record of Balieborough at the weekend. seems that the munchies can beat/compete with the good teams but struggle with the poor ones (obvious exception laragh here) Must be the Liverpool of Division 3!!!!! anyone at the game or any comments.
