Killygarry v Butlersbridge should be a classic, shaping up to be possibly THEE most important game in the history of cavan football. Two terrific teams at the height of there power coming together in what promises to be a thriller

i come from an age where discussing managerial roles was frowned upon, so my stance on the sandpit comment is that this message is volatile and disturbing as it clearly poking fun at a man who is the heartbeat of templeport football, who has shaped the history and has changed the culture of this particulary into a modern day professional outfit while he could have spent his time pursing the things he enjoys in life.

I am greatly sorry if I have caused any offense in my short time on hoganstand, I thought it was an area were one could voice there honest opinions and thought that all my comments were legitimate enough, again its only an opinion. Anyway as I seem to have offended a few people. I will discontinue use of hoganstand and shall never post on this again. My time was sweet but short. CORLOUGH FOR PROMOTION. That is all i have to say. goodbye

wel im new to this whole thing.. seems like a great place to get a very informative view on the cavan footballing scene. firstly just like to agree with player1 very true that west cavan sides promise so much in the early parts of the year while propped against a bar counter. swad only realistic hopes to come out of west cavan with something more than a local derby win under there belts. baileboro and laragh to finish top.

i agree strongly with that statement body fuel. division 3 seems to be subject to unfair criticism on a regular basis. personally i feel this division has the most potential in terms of future stars. arva for example seem to have a great breed of young players bursting onto the scene whilst shannon gaels have some great prosects through their present minor panel. however i think the one big county player in the division that is lorcan mulvey is nothing more than average. cant see him featuring in cavans plans for an ulster championship. disapointed with david givneys contribution to the mountugent team so far this season he promised a lot in early season with the cavn seniors. im afraid he has hit his peak. what kind of a minor team has corlough got??

2-15 in 4 division 3 league games is hardly setting the league on fire.....whats that 1-4 in each of the two games, 0-4 in another and 0-3 in another game, i'm sure he takes a few frees. In fairness when the ground conditions get better it should suit him

Monkey dude you obviously have some problem with this gareth bannon fella and I think that you should leave the constant sly comments out as the poor fella has come under serious abuse and its just not fair to be piling critisism on one of our future stars

Excuse me body fuel you thing u . i have only ever heaped praise on this gareth bannon man as he holds the key in templeport glory hunt for more silverware. he is one of a few truly outstanding players in cavan football. i have watched this lad since he was only a grasshopper. he reminds me of a fine wine waiting to mature. meanwhile i got an interesting email yesterday which opened my eyes. it relates to some of the extra night activities that some young folk form the west seem to be partaking in up in the big smoke. it wud be a shame if this was true.
