hello solo run,

yes your numbers match mine. although i didn't bother totting up the rossie ones!

was thinking, because results have been posted so late some lads might not have had chance to post predictions for this weekend. so i was thinking some more and i propose giving them all points equal to the lowest scorer. so say i get lowest pts of 4 then all posters who didn't send in predictions should get 4.

1st prize overall gets a date with charlotted on melvin lake.

good luck to leitrim lads on sunday. i expect it to be close enough as its our first proper game of the season. hope some of them forwards continue to improve. thats where we need to improve and where we'll beat them rossies from!!

Mmm.? You gave away your non-melvin/kinlough status there melvin man there by calling it melvin lake. Every man dog and child in north leitrim knows it's known as lough melvin.

Melvinman,

No problem about giving them points. 20 people in the competition (assuming no late joiners).....12 so far have posted for this weekend's matches. All 12 have gone for Wicklow, Antrim and Leitrim....with only Clare v Sligo being contested. So giving a standard 4 points is no problem with me for those who miss this week. Hard to see anyone going with Waterford (away) or Kilkenny.

Having said this since everyone so far has gone with Leitrim (surprise, surprise!!) then the minimum/lowest score is likely to be 6. So I'll propose we'll give them 6 as well if Leitrim win(and its the minimum score)......in the spirit of celebration of good start in the league and to generate a feelgood factor. Some of contestants are not from Leitrim so its nice to be hospitable. No points for Clare/Sligo obviously.....tricky game to call that one. Really looking forward to seeing Leitrim on Sunday, I haven't seen them this year yet.

We'll see what the others say....might have to be a democracy since our leader has vanished!!! Wonder would there be suggestions about excluding FergalODonnell from the concession (wouldn't want to set a precedent and give Ros anything handy)!!!.........ah maybe be will. Its not guaranteed though Carlow are bound to be looking to rebound from last week and the last few years they have given us plenty of problems.

Me neither Fergie, but its how we finish. No panic in the camp here as yet, but need a Clare win to keep in the pack. (Have a few bob on them to win that match as well as it happens).

16 in. Only DaCitizen, Dundee_Gin, Irish Gael and PlasticNeddy to go - so not bad.

plasticNeddy, who said hindsight was a great thing? even with hindsight you still 'predicted' wicklow to win and got it wrong, good man, for this you are automatically expelled from the league
