I dont know why everyone is talking about Ryan and Payne because the most influential players on this team are Staunton and K.Ryan in the forwards and Naughton and Canavan in the backs!and as for ryan and payne not being 'tempted by college life',everybody is tempted by college life and these lads are no different and you cant blame!

shrule/glen in my opinion are the better team between themselves and gerards from what iv seen at a few of their games. Not only do they have a great first 15 but also have great depth in the panel and will use this well in A football

They are playing their galway neighbours headford in a challenge on saturday evening. bit of rivalry there.according to headfords club notes their junior team is playing shrules senior team friday aswel.

Headford and Shrule/Glen,possibly two of the most talked up minor teams in both countys!both have goo but fairly young teams and are venturing into their first year in A so it should be a good indicator to how good they are!I heard that Carey will be missing for Headford and Staunton might be missing for Shrule so it will be hard to judge either team yet with these key players missing off both teams!
