I heard this one before in work and didnt believe it when the lads told me. As i am a liverpool fan i was shocked to hear that it was xabi alonso, I believe that he won an all-ireland schools medal when he lived in meath for a while

I don't believe that Alonso one either. When or how could any Spanish student end up in an All Ireland final in all reality. I think Denis Irwin won a schools All Ireland (also think he played against Niall Quinn at schools level) and obviously a Champions League when United robbed Bayern.

He is on about gaa medals not soccer ones with celtic . I knew he managed but what county was he from . So read it in future but you could have read it wrong .
