Were Tyrone robbed of an All-Ireland in 1995?

Whether the thread is unworthy of present comment is irrelevant! Many gamess are reviewed and re run many many years after the game is over. I watched the game on tv last night and I enjoyed it!
What amazed me was that Paddy Russell did not insist that Charlie remain off the pitch.
As to whether it was a game changer - I don't think it was. Canavan was superb from frees and he kept Tyrone in it. The impact of Mattie McGleenan was that Pat O'Neill put a midfielder on him and so he was causing damage. I cannot comment on the merits of Art McRory as a manager - but they got to the All Ireland and that was a terrific achievement.
As to Ulsterman and his comment on Bosco and his contribution - grow up - please- Carlow are doing well in GAA! Thank you! No need to be condescending!

You want to talk about being robbed of an All-Ireland?
Kerry in '82 was the greatest travesty to befall Gaelic Games. It was a definite push....

just another example of how cynical dublin were in the 80's and 90's..it was laughable reading the dublin posters on the meath v tyrone thread being outraged by tyrone's cynical play...it's pathetic to hear this nonsense especially if you were there that day to witness their constant hounding of the ref,and then the 83 final with the behaviour of the the most cynical team ever to win an all-ireland..never has any player carried out such a dirty action as ciaran duffs kick at the head of a galway player on the ground that day

tyrone had more success under art mcrory than any other manager before the arrival of m.harte.he got them to their first all-ireland in 86 and again in 95 with an average team.they won numerous ulster titles under his tutelage.

Apologies Carlowman it wasn't really a 'personal' dig at your county which I acknowledge has some fine players and clubs.

Carlow is better than Antrim in both codes now so no point in slagging

Carlow is famous for being the county that NO ONE gets in the quiz question "Name the 32 counties in Ireland".
