County Minors

Droimratha, richard donnelly nothing special, i have witnessed my own club team play against a fairly weak trillick side but still we still come out on the wrong side of the result due to richard donnelly, i have hope that this man will be as good, if not better than his older brother. He is every grade 2 or 3 teams nightmare as he will beat teams and likely every grade 1 players nightmare as he will destroy so called players. Talent in abundance and a real dedicated lad. one for the future, also in respect to the Johnny Toal situation above me, i would definatley have that man on the squad if not starting on the team, a man of huge stature and ability...perfect for county football, will hopefully do the East proud. Dungannon also are well due a young star but now i believe the will have two minors in morgan and toal and they have stefan mckenna on the under21s and he is just out of minors, how does that happen? didn make minors but can make u21's is this the same guy? mayb im wrong!

morgan plays for edendork, shows how much you know. Richie donnelly average player imo good in the air and strong but lacks pace. Johny toal is a good player but i heard that for vacationals he was getting destroyed at midfeild? can anyone clarify this? i still think he would make a decent full back though, trials back on tomorrow then? and yes that is the stefan mckenna that was minor last year he is a good defender and should have been on the minor panel last year though didnt deserve a starting place. Sometimes rushes his pass a bit though.

i agree they have alot of there team picked after the 1st trial, and some of the squad members are only there because they are the managers favourite

is there something wrong with Galbally players? Aidan Carberry is a first class footballer, not to mention Patrick Rafferty, James Lennon and Andrew Rafferty. these players have been very good for galbally minors last year!

For you's that are talkin about Mckenna from dungannon an him not making the county minor pannel last year... They didnt need him anyway! didnt they win everything there was possible to win without losing one single match the whole?

Im not sayin he's not a good footballer now. Instead of sayin the minor managers have there favourites wouldnt it be more appropriate to say he didnt preform in the trials therefore wasnt worthy of a call back.

Keifer Morgan, Johnny Toal and Peter Muldoon could all be worthy of a place on the minor pannel this year!

simple as this, colm spiers first choice keeper, at 16 has proved his abilites, great shot stopper, excellent under a high ball and the best kickout i have ever seen for a 16 year old who has proved these abilites at colleges, minor and under 21 level. should be first choice and has another year after this at minor level.

colm speirs number 1??
happened to be in clogher yesterday watchin the academy and Niall Morgan showed his capabilities as a keeper!! long kick out...two or 3 very good saves and a huge catch above matty donnelly on the edge of the square! commanded his area and picked up a harsh bookin in doin so!

Most of the teams are biased with most users picking at least 3 average enough players from their own club and each team consists mainly of players from their side of the county (east/west). you lads should leave it to fat munroe.

i was at the trial on wednesday night in omagh although to my footballing hatred to the moy the 3 lads i thought should be on that team performed respectivly, paddy from moy?? does any one have a second name, put in a good performance and peter mallon and eunan deeney aswell. and i have barely seen them in any of the teams on this, others are the likes of conor mccreeesh who can score from everywhere and danny gorman is hardly anywhere to be seen in half the teams on this here site sort that out lol the man is a deadly player!
