Sean-og, Drumlane by 2?!
Arva will do well this year even though they are missing players, they still have a strong set-up! Great win on saturday.

Killenkere bet swad by 2-10 last week so i'd say they'll hammer mountnugent cuz swad are better, and if lacken bet ballymchugh they must have a fairly good team so cud beat the gaels by more swad will prob get a similar result to last week....but we'll see....anything can happen on the day!!

Arva have still got pretty much the same team only their better, missing two very strongs forwards in England. Wasn't four of their players called to Senior county after they won the Junior Champ?

I really do think Lurgan will hammer templeport... Might not even stop at 13?? Nothin against templeport, they had a great result last week but i just think that lurgan will be far to strong for them... Ya the Arva game should be a good one.....
Ballymachugh will surely bounce back after last weeks very dissappointing result ...

st.finbarrs by 8? think belturbet are on the up this year, was at the game, great work rate and a bench full of subs. grinded out good win against a fancied st.finbarrs outfit.
any comments on divison three contenders?

Lavey bet Laragh
Drumlane couldnt field players
Belturbet bet St.Finbarrs
Templeport bet Lurgan
Was at Arva and Gowna match, Gowna won, although Arva were missing Donna English and Melissa King, two county players, and there full forward line. There mid-fielder number 6 Fleming was out injured and still put playing and got a bad fall on her injured back during the game and wasn't taken off.
Catherine Dolan had a good game for them, Ciara Gray didn't mark Laura Pearson well enough which resulted to Pearson catching some great balls and being a free player.
Paula Fitz had a good game, and in saying all Arva's missing players, Gowna's forward Niamh was out also. It was an ok game.

it seems a lot of teams are having ddifficulty producing full teams every week, heard the div 4 lacken B and shannon gaels game was fairly poor wit both sides missing players and had no subs

Arvagh are missing there centre half forward and full forward, who between them score a fair amount, also believe there other half forward is only returning from an illness, melissa king hasn't played a game with arvagh this year and from what I hear won't be either...how that will affect county is interesting... I know donna english is injured, fairly serious, surprised about gray not marking pearson, thought she would know her game by now and plus she is playing county??? wasn't at the game meself but I know dey will have all der players minus english( for a while anyway) pretty soon...again with King I'm not so sure

Pity about Arvagh missing so many main players they should of had a higher standard this year. Why is King out this year?

It shouldn't matter what players teams are missing. The 13 that started for Arva, perhaps weaker than usual they still should have beatin Gowna WHO had to take players out of the wood work just to play the game. Arva are gonna be missing players this year but if they are gonna play well at all in intermediate they will have to take responsibilty!Theres plenty of talent still there, young side. What about Longford beatin Down in the NFL, if cavan beat Meath on sunday, there might be a good chance there for them in the league.

i was at the lurgan templeport game and in fairness to lurgan the didnt play as well as they usually do..every year they seem to have a slow start but i can see them getting back and winning the league this year.they were missing a few of their players aswel as having a few poor performances from their normally solid players.templeport played well and with them drawing with lacken l.week see them top of div 1,but lurgan beat knockbride l.week without playing overly well and i think they'll be the winners of the div 1 league for 2009. does anyone know the amalgamations for senior championship this yr?

well i was also at the lurgan templeport game and i think templeport put up a great performance as they were also missing a number of good players and it is also their first year in division 1 !
