Lurgan V Lacken on Saturday.
I think that Lacken actually beat Templeport to get to the final.
Lurgan Won it last year thought but they lost in down by 2 points
And Lurgan was playing Belgarry to get to the final cause I was at the match.

Actually Sean-Og,
Lurgan have a very big chance of winning.
They are very good girls and they put alot of effort into it.

P.Mus, will you please take your head out of your ***. The standard in the Junior and intermediate finals this weekend was far higher than you would have seen in Breffni park at any senior mens game, and if you want to see a good game next weekend, head to The ladies senior final in Mullahoran. it will be far ahead of the cynical, low scoring, persistent fouling and down right bore that will be on display in breffni

oh come on you cannot be serious love! the ladies football is just a bit of harmless fun, nothing to serious i'd say whoever is in this county final is probably playing their first game of the year and suddenly they are in a county final. the score will probably be 10-02 to 18-03, thats the standard of the women football, in reality its just a break from the kitchen! u r dilusional if u think the women's match is better than the men's!!

Come off it P.Mus. Ladies football is at an elite level in this county at the moment and the county team are unlucky not to be in an All-Ireland final, coming close to beating both finalists! Both Junior and intermediate games were excellent to watch and the senior is also set to be a cracker! Your opinion strikes me as sexism. If you have nothing positive to say then I suggest you dont bother commenting at all.

cavan-ned go to specsavers now. The killinkere no13 played for 10minutes of the first half to st finbarr's switched another player on to her and she never touched another ball to the last 5minutes of the match. She was'nt even the best player on the killinkere team 10 and 14 were it was a joke. Yea the award is for player of the match not for a player that play's for 15minutes in the whole match

Ah come off it Taboo, The killenkere No 13 was by far the best played for the whole first half and even in the second half when she moved out to wing half forward she was doin great work down in the defence winning possesion and carrying the ball forward, relieveing alot of pressure of her backs. Only for her, there would have been alot more in it. Who do you think should have got player of the match?

lacken should win that final if they play half as well as they did against templeport, lurgan can run the ball well but i dunno if they're as physically strong as lacken. hard to see either gettin past the big guns in ulster (donaghmoyne etc) though, indicating that the club scene in cavan still just isnt on a par with the rest of the province which inevitably has a knock on effect on the county team.

on a separate note, another year of promises but no delivery from that county team, if same management is kept on then nothing will change in 2010 dar liom..

Senior May Struggle in Ulster but what about our Junior and intermediate reps, they could do well!! Yes I agree, new management would help, the talent is there!

clonee...if your a ladies footballer, you should be ashamed of yourself, if not keep your insulting opinions to yourself, you are prob one of these who plays with a div 6 team actually thats an insult to a div 6 player....what kind of a statement is that saying they cant run and solo at the same time!!! I'm not even gonna mention the talented players on both the inter an junior winning teams and also the senior game tomorrow which will have a show of talent on display. yes clerkin is good but there are alot more besides her who are young and upcoming aswell as more senior players...I'm not even gonna dignify you with any names because your not worth it. best of luck to both st finbarrs and arvagh in there respective ulster championship. also best of luck to both lacken and lurgan in the senior final

Clonee.................
Arva Hammered Clann na Gael of Tyrone last yr in the 1st round and narrowly lost to truagh of Monaghan in the semis, due to lack of experience in my opinion, Truagh went on to win ulster and into all Ireland semi's, Get ur facts straight and support the cavan clubs!
