Lurgan backs played very well against lacken last night, let in a goal near the end that was the only downfall from them. overall was a good performace from them. Not sure how the semi finals draw are to be worked out..

cornafean bet shannon gaels so there playin killygarry B in the final. Suprised Ballymchugh didnt get to the final. Shannon Gaels seem to have a very young squad but have shown determination since their redevelopment.

just wondering does anyone know why drumlane are in the junior championship surely to god their far to strong for it when they could easily hold their own in devision 2 during the league

Drumlane are in the Junior Championship beacuse they never won it. When and if they are sucessful they will move up to intermediate. Anyway, they were beaten twive in the league by last years junior champions and beaten quite well actually so i dont think they are a whole pile better than some of the other junior teams. I honestly believe st finbars will be a good match for them in the first round. Its unfortunate to see Drumlane, Arva and St Finbars on the same side in the draw, surely the two best teams in Junior are among those three. One the other side of the draw, i think laragh might just have enough to get through to the final but i cant see them winning it. If i had to put my money on it, id say Arva will win it out.

Anyone willing to speculate on the Senior or Intermediate Championship. The senior threw up a few exciting games in the first round. Knockbride and Lurgan should be a good game with a lot to play for considering the winners play Gowna in the semi final. On the other side of the draw Mullahoran play Lacken with the winners playing the winners of Stradone gaels (laragh and lavey) and west cavan gaels (drumlane and templeport i think). That WCG team should be very strong with Bronagh and Aisling not to mention others like Cass. They could pull off a shock in the senior this year. The intermediate will be the same as the division 2 league final. Templeport and Drumgoon with Templeport having the edge.

its because they are new club that and never won the junior championship so they must start at the bottom... Cant see any1 stoppin them in junior champ this year...

Senior draw threw up a couple of good game but the pick of the round would ave to be knockbride v lurgan

Its sunday evenin at 7 in breffni...There usually is only 2 teams in an ulster final or any final for that matter......
Ya obviously haven't got a clue wat your talkin bout miwadi..... who doesn't deserve to be on it... wat can ya do when some clubs wont send in players??? ya have to make the most of wat ya have..

Sean-og you're some smartass. MiWadi means that it is ridiculous that there are only two teams in the Ulster Intermediate Championship and Cavan's first game is a final. However, Mr. Pain does not know the circumstances of why some players are/aren't on the panel. Best of luck to the Cavan Ladies anyway.

besta luck to the cavan girls on sunday evenin, think they're goin great this year, no point talkin bout players that aren't there coz i think they've been replaced by some fantastic new young footballers from around the county, new names comin up and makin a name for themselves. will be some game against fermanagh, hope our girls make it 3rd ulster final in a row!

I know but thats the only way to treat stupid people lik miwadi... If he knew anythin bout ladies football he wouldn't have made the statement in the first place....
Thats the way it is and has been and the way its has to stay in the interest of fairness.....
Ya have to win the all ireland before ya can play in the senior championship... T
The all ireland championship is seperate from the ulster......
I could explain it to ya's but just couldn't be bothered cause ya's prob wouldn't understand anyway...

Thank you Sean-og for pointing out our stupidity. You obviously have a higher intelligence than the rest of us so there is no point in explaining it as we are clearly retarted and wouldn't understand. Mr. Pain is off now to bang his head of the wall to see what's inside.

how come none of the lurgan players join up with there county its not as if they are not good enough the have a couple of really good players, have they no ambition?then other teams put in there players for county and miss out on games like the 9 a side and get beat maybe by lurgan its stupid...............

eh sean og who says im a man????? thanks mr.pain we must be the only 1 's who talk a bitta sense round here!!! all im saying is that there is a few players on that panel who dont deserve their place, when there is some players for eg in lurgan, laragh, arva etc which thoroghly deserve a place on the cavan panel!! and of course the cavan team is going to be weaker when 5 or 6 of their players from last years winning side have gone to america! and that rule that county players cant play 9 a side is stupid in my opinion.... some teams that havr 4 or 5 players on the county are really strugling for eg..killygarry, lavey, inny gaels!!
