JDS, i bow to your knowledge of the Kilanerin set up. Are you from Kilanerin as you seem to have a great knowledge of all the players. I gave my opinion of young Darcy based on what ive seen of him in the last year or two. I dont have your knowledge of the club, in fact im 30 miles away, but i do think the lad has gret potential, based on what ive seen of him.

169846 I dont care what age he is. If wexford are to progress at this level this year we have to be prepared to play him. No one ever won anything without taking a chance

DaPoultas
What sort of comment is that, if the lad is over-age ( which he is ) how can we be prepared to play him ?

Whatever team we have there is going to be serious work to be done. There are 5 Kildare under-21s on the Maynooth Sigerson panel and they have being training with Kildare since the start of December...... not trials the actual squad which means that we are a month behind......... Kildare are weak in the half back line thats where we should target....

Oh and I'm out for another month or so lad thanks 4 askin!!!
Might as well throw in my two cents
1 Pa Doyle........ If he's not available Art Sweetman
2 Aidan Jones
3 Kavanagh
4 Colm Kennelly/Robert Tierney
5 Ciaran O Shaugnessy
6 Shane Rackard
7 Tommy Barron
8 Lee Walker
9 Andrew Shore
10 Alan Cowman in his Glynn/Barntown role
11 Sean O' Neill
12 Gavin O' Toole
13 Paul Morris
14 Tom Fitzharris
15 Eoin Doyle

Lads, what did Gavin o Toole do to get on this team. He did ok as a sub against adamstown, started one other game and was subbed in the county final.
Has the panel been picked yet or are they still having "trials"?

lads there's a midfielder in Gorey by the name Darragh Cullen and he's the best midfielder i've seen around...big, strong , athlethic, plays rugby up in clongowes...had he have been available for minor this year, he'd have been a shoe-in...he's got to be in contention around the half back line at least...and the full back out in castletown Richard Farrell, played midfield for some of the year for the castletown seniors...there's a lanigan lad out there too, dead classy!

also, i've had a look at these teams lads are puttin up and there are very few shels lads on it....there the best underage set up in the county surely there's more of their players desrving of a chance?? and shane bradley has to be on it

I think David Breen from Ferns has to be a certainty. His determination and heart is unrivalled in the county. Gave powerful performances at wing back in minor.

why aren't there many lads from glynn in these panels? didn't they win premier u-21 last year? liam crean? rob tierney? brendan doyle? and what about any player from the martin's? they won premier u-21 the year before and premier minor in 2006. john coleman was on the panel last year and was full back for the senior team this year? willie devereux, rory wilson, ciaran power, paudie kelly?? are you telling me that none of these lads are in the top 15 footballers in wexford? i doubt that somehow. i'm abroad so someone enlighten me why players from championship winning teams can't make county teams

Eoin is waiting for a knee operation will be out for 6 months or so..... After that theres Andre O' Brien who would be a wing back very good footballer After that no-on really has the interest in it Connor Walsh and Joe Kelly are good footballers but as far as I know neither went to the trials

Is it true that there was nobody from the Shels at these trials? Are the club boycoting it? It would be very unfair on quality footballers like Barron Kelly and the rest if they are.... By the way does anyone know why Kelly wasn't on the Shels senior team was at their under 21 match this year and Lawler and him carryed them against us

Who put down Tomas Hayes good kick,i remember him at Wexford CBS,he needed someone to come back the whole time to kick the ball out for him,I see Paul Carty has a few Mary's men on the panel.

If Marty O'Connor off the Mary's gets on the panel,i'll walk up the main street in Wexford Town naked !!!!

Christy Lane would be good in midfield, but he's a bit young to

These teams won't win any all-ireland unless David McEvoy from adamstown is included. He is lethal in front of goal and he demonstrated this when he bagged 2 for the seniors against the u-21s. Surely that can't be held against him, some of the lads mentioned on the other teams can hardly kick a ball.

Kieran Duffan from the Vols is definitely worth a shot.

miketyson, do you actually understand what the 'u' in u21 stands for? I'll fill you & cager95 in in case ye are confused. It stands for 'under', meaning only people born on or since january 1st 1988 are eligible to play for our u21 tam this year. David Farrell was born in 1987, making him ineligible. So, unless there was some mistake with his birth cert & it is changed, he most definitely won't be playing for the u21 team this year.
