an absolute disgrace the way that down team played tonight.not one player stood up to be counted. charlie vernon was very good for Queens. i would just like to ask does anyone have a clue what Ross and his so called backroom team be talking about when they stand in a bunch for five minutes, cause nothing ever seems to come out of it. subs being made to late and sometimes subs not being made at all. the league starts in 10 days time and by god theres alot of work to be done between now and then. im starting to think that it would have been better if tyrone had of beat us, cause there was a few people on here thinking we were world beater, god weve along way to go yet

newryview spot on!i believe its the same old story every year! the players that are picked just arent good enough! i also believe this could be carrs last year at the helm! it happens every year newryview we get 1 good result then the fans blow us out of proportion! wexford showed us that by teaching us a footballing lesson last year!! will be greatly dissapointed if we fail get out of div 3

bad match one of the worst performances from a down side i have seen.
well at least luke howard and conor maginn played well for queens
but its only the Mckenna cup
Some of the Down players just arent up to scratch

(i dont like having to say this but i think i have to.) If results arent what they should be at the beginning of the league i think you could see changes. remember its the clubs that vote ross and his backroom team in so with their influence he needs results and preformances in the very near future. we just cant rely on another good championship run. im starting to get a bit worried about the future the way things have been going. weve had three poor preformances out of four and the good one was against a jet lagged bunch. (it hurts me to have to say this let me remind all of our gaels)

where are yous all today? yous are usually pretty quick at geting on ross and djs backs so way not give them a bit of praise after yesterday? ok it wasnt the championship but Down can only beat whats put in front of them, and the tyrone team was alot stronger than expected.

think stonedog may have a special word of praise for lynch, or will he just sweep his preformance under the carpet cause hes not a div1 player (so in stonedogs words should even be there)

stonedog he never said anything about ross an dj he jus stating hes worried the way downs heading an the clubs vote them in so you could end up seeing the clubs not voting for ross an dj at the end of the yaer!! as for jackie lynch dont rate him anyway, but players can have there off days!!

Lads its only the McKenna Cup. No one believed we were world beaters when we won it last year and we shouldnt be too bothered about last nights result. This years panel for the League wont be that much different from last. I would like to see John Clarke back though and Alder as our number 1 keeper, but Ross and DJ have other ideas.
Promotion from Division 3 has to be our main focus now, not some mickey mouse competiton played on a heavy January pitch.

it was a horrible performance, but im still not shoutin for new managment. Iv money on Down to win ulster this year. Lads you have remember this mckenna cup is just a trial for players that ross chose to work with.
Have to say charlie vernon was a different class ahead of everyone last night. He'll be v good for armagh this year.
