I think its great to see 4 teams from kildare representing the county in the leinster colleges senior 'A' championship.
The 4 teams are kilcock, patrcians newbridge, ardcoil athy and naas c.b.s..last year it was only athy and newbridge so the county is progressing.Last year athy won the south leinster 'A' league beating newbridge and this year Newbridge won it..great to see these younger lads playing at such a high level.even though most of the kilcock team is made up of meath lads,Edenderry(Offally) who are also in the 'A' have many carbury and balyna men on their squad.

I saw Scoil Dara Kilcock play recently they have some serious players, not all Meath though, some Kilcock and I believe one or two are from Johnstownbridge. Also believe they have a few still U-16 on the team, great achievement to play A football at this level. Does anyone know who the Kildare U-16s are and if they are on the Kildare U16 team ? or is there any of the Scoil Dara team playing Minor for Kildare or Meath ?

Is there a Brennan guy as well from Johnstownbridge, i was speaking with a well known Summerhill stalwarth who watches scoil dara closely and he was asking about him apparently he is a goal scoring machine. It appears he scored a sack of goals recently against Edenderry.

why is that so you can poach them for a college team in dublin? Not saying that there is anything wrong with that, football should help ya get into a course, its up to the player to pass the year after that themselves and all.

in reply to the senior schools final betweeen particans and clane....
clane will beat them hands down....iv been watchin that senior clane team very closely this year...on the startin team there is 10-12 leaving certs and they will not want to end there school year in another disapointment...after there loss in the leinister b final...theyy lost that because of not performing on the day terrible unlucky....if im wrong i dont no now but im pritty sure clane have 5 lads on the kildare team...

partricans have like 3 leaving certs too little to beat this strong clane team....

who iv seen running the streets of clane at 6 in the morning before school some days...and who have beaten leisister a winners edenderry in a friendly...beaten several a teams and lost out narrolwy to sarsfrields minor team of 2008...

do your homework lads....
