Headford the 3rd best team in Northboard Minor??Thats an insult to Tuam Stars and other teams....If they are one of the "best" teams in the north then the north mustnt be very competitive. On that matter the west is in fairness stronger with St James,Killannin,Miheal Breathnachs and Salthill Knock all in the running for the West board.Only Corofin and Claregalway(posssibly Tuam) for the North Board.......

salthillboy what exactly qualifies you to say anything about headford?have you seen them play or do you know any of their players? is it just coz tuam are a traditional division one team that you say headford couldnt be better than them?

Personally i dont think that Headford will be up to Minor A this year....itl be down to Corofin and Claregalway again but they will have to show theyre good enough and compete in the division(for Northerns sake or else hell be red faced)
Time will tell if Northern is right and Headford are successfull....
Time will tell....

Lads - Don't be comparing any potential team to St. James' as St. James' will do well to win 2 rounds in the Championship this year. They are nothing compared to the Minors Teams from 06 and 07. They might do alright in the league but once Championship comes you will see the big guns. I presume Barna and Salthill or in A. They should be good young minor teams in the West.

This Headford Team has been talked about for the last 2 or 3 years. Is this the same team that have stuck together at club and school level - same coach? I think they started off in Minor C ??????? In my opinion if you get a bunch of lads to stick together for this long they will achieve something.

The west draw has been made with Killanin Vs ST Micheals, winner of that match playing St.James Vs Bearna.. Then the other side of that draw sees Micheal Breathnach Vs Moycullen and winner plays Salthill.

Are Leitir Mor or An Spideal not in Minor A this year?If not they should do well in Minor B west...
The draw looks exciting would expect St James and Killalinn to progress to the semis aswell as Micheal Breathnachs.
Two cracking semis to take place.....would expect Mb to go through to final but i think either St James or Killalinn would get the better of them.Lets hope the County championship comes back to Conamara again!Come on the West!!!

joyce.11- why do you bother coming on this site?you never have anything worth while to say.
give us your opinion on league placings and who will win the championship?in other words concentrate on the subject of this thread.

I agree with northern. you have been talking rubbish for the last few weeks and you don't know the facts and no proof on how any team are shaping up this year, you are just a trouble maker and should stay away from this subject from now on.
