I wasn't at the match but Breathnachs won by 2 points.
James' won by 5 points.

I don't like saying it but i reckon James' will be favourites going into the West Final having beaten Breathnachs in Inverin in the league by a goal but everybody knows Breathnachs are a very good club in Championship and like Galway & Mayo a kick of a ball is all that will probably seperate the sides. It would be a big achievment for St. James' to get to another County Final having got there in 2006 & 2007.

The minor B Championship west board final between lettermore and cliften is scheduled for the 5th of august, not the 5th of september.. The county final is scheduled for the 5th of september..

Michael Breathnachs 2-7 2-5 Salthill/Knocknacarra

Salthill very unlucky.

greatgalway... how do you reckon claregalway have it in the bag? they still have to beat corofin and winners of Mb james'..all 3 teams better than them. a joke of a statement.

Ryano came off the bench alright; scored the first and set up the second. Brilliant player but he is playing First Division Football for Mervue United so Gaelic only comes second.

did not say that Claregalway have it "in the bag" but I did say they could be favourites which is a compliment to them and hope they prove people right. Minor Championship is not a joke. Ask any player or Manager.

Not trying to make excuses but referee was a 16th man for MB, sure they will admit also, not saying we would have won with a decent ref but certainly would not have lost... Stop Fintan from catching and Peadar from scoring and James will win - much easier said than done though... Also didnt see much of Fiach against Salthill as was cleaned by Cian McGin but is a threat if left unmarked, also corner forwards dangerous...
