Dont know myself and could not find it on t'internet

The football team was revived in the early 1980s and its proudest day came on Sunday, August 8, 1982, when Corrinshego defeated Clonmore with a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-6 in a sunny Ballymacnab to lift the Junior County Football Championship for the first time.

Further honour was brought the club when current chairman Eamonn Fearon played corner back on the Armagh minor team that played in the 1992 All-Ireland final against Meath. Corrinshego provided players to represent the county at all levels: Liam Fegan at minor level, and Karl Kimmons and Gerald Reilly at minor, U21 and senior level.

Corrinshego Man in 1950 .
That man was Peter Mc Gleenan (RIP) at left full back, with Hughie O Hanlon at Full back and a Killeavy man O Rourke at right corner replacing Gerry Mc Stay who had broken his arm in the Ulster Final against Cavan.

I cantbelieve that some people on here claiming they are from armagh but have never heard of corrinshego. I have heard of them over the years from a friend of mine while i was in england. Also, there is a lack of respect for the players from this club with some posters taking the mick cause they play division 4 and that is a disgrace from fellow county men. In antrim there are 6 divisions in football with good footballers within all divisions and teams ranging from all parts of the county. This (participation) to me is what the gaa is all about, not just big division one clubs who regularly win the championship.

you were on wicklows forum (being bitter were still in the championship) saying your from newry!!!! how can you change your tune for the sake of the arguement....the clubs generally made up of newry fellas .... and newry is officially in county down, and your address will say Co. Down? True or False...

i live around the chancellors road..the club is in corrinshego. end of that point!!

my address?? yes it does say co.down...in bessbrook they write "bessbrook, newry, co.down". most of s.armagh does the same... now are you really suggesting bessbrook is in co.down? the argument over newry by people from down over addresses just highlights their ignorance. the only reason the thing over addresses happens is something to do with the post office.

its a well know fact newry is half and half. the clanrye river seperates down and armagh.

now what exactly is your issue with Corrinshego??

corrinshego is in Down but we didnt want them cause they were always looking the lend of our clubs grounds. they have very little of their own. how do they expect to run a football club without their own ground? like come on here!!they are like the carnbane league teams different pitch every week

We've been playing our home games in Bessbrook for 3 years!!

And use don't own a pitch either, instead use play the other side of the town from your social club.

I can't believe some so called gaels haven't heard of Corrinshego, Thomas Davis Corrinshego will be the biggest club in the newry area in the next 5 years, currently they field at every level from under 8 to senior - not all clubs in armagh can say this, in the last 6 years their underage has gone from strength to strength winning many a cup each year, Corrinshego is the oldest club in the newry area pre -dating newry shamrocks who were only founded in 1931..

Corrinshego is a newry club and its catchment area is from the dublin road of the town to Camlough mountain with every thing in between,
over the years the club has been represented the county at every level u -16, minor, u-21, junior, senior, over-40's, schools and colleges level. in fact a former county chairman was a corrinshego man - tommy lynch

I buy a lotto ticket of them every week, im live 60 mile from Newry and have heard of them and know of lads play for them. Any of you Armagh clowns think you know anything about Gaelic football and have never heard of a club with in your own country should be ashamed of yourselves and not on GAA forums bragging about it.
