cloud9 - u change yer name to cloudcookoo...cos ya nae have a clue mate.

i think the city teams will do well and moycullen cud b dark horses. All the pressure on corofin and killerein...c'strane are a one man show - if anything happens to bane they wont come close. he runs the show on that team.

none of the connemara teams will feature. caltra...do they really have it anymore, i dont think so...and shamrocks wont go anywhere near last year. will be interesting to see how tuam do.

i think its one of three - corofin, k'erin, salthill.

The first round in the championship, is only a trial and warm up game, it doesen't really matter; Your nearly better off loosing, as you wont be waiting as long for your next game; All in all, I think it will be the usual suspects.. Corrofin, Carraroe, Caltra.. and Moycullen as dark horses. I dont see how anyone could dismiss Carraroe, (That knows anything about football) They only lost to Cahirlistrane by a few goals, they were every bit as good as them; They made one of the greatest ever Comebacks against the Brathna in the first round, Won well against Claregalway after a few draws, are a way better team this year, and way more settled; I am certainly going to have a few quid on them at long odds; Moycullen will certainly give every team a game to remember; Caltra with the Meehans are always a force; Dont think Killererin will make it this year, although a great team, think they are on the way down; M.B are totally gone, hit badly by emigration and unemployment; I suppose every club will suffer also, if this recession keeps going..

its obviously goin 2 be a north or city club dat will win da fox. its just a fact more footballers in da north of da county rather den muckers from da wast. if da fox was played over da winter months the western teams wud have a better chance. the usual suspects like corofin nd salthill will always be in contention. corfin wer unstopable but dis years run will take alot out of dem. so dis might make room for da likes of tuam, milltown nd mountbellew to be in contention and corton will be doin der best to try nd win dis year after der brilliant chance last year. but considerin corofin won da minor aswell last year dey shud ave a lot of talent pushin older lads for places so ya never know da bite night be still in corofin.

Sammythebull the first line of your argunment you said that the first round should not be looked into as it doesnt matter, then you praise carroroe for makin a comeback in a game that you say doesnt matter.
corofin will be close this year but i feel Clistrane will go better than last yer and win it, some great young players comin through. moycullen are the only side from city/west that will get close this year.i think killererin will come back this year though, granted they were very poor last year but they were without key players such as nicky joyce and colin forde. hard to know how cortoon will do this year, tough team ta play against, great defence, not sure on midfield though. warde and savage are great upfront, martin seems like a moody player though.

think it'll be hard for corofin to retain their title but who can match them?? maybe killererin, caltra are finished, so are salthill. caherlistrane bottled it last year...maybe moycullen...cant see michael breathnachs beatin corofin anyway...

Are Caltra and Salthill really finished? Moycullen have to be in with a big shout this year.
