Corofin have a good chance of winning the club all ireland final so that means it gives teams like Caherlistrane ..Caltra and others of winning the Frank Fox in 2009.

Are you honestly saying that every team should play 19 league games a year on top of championship games? ABsolutely madness idea. The league final wasn't played until december this year with only 9 games to be played. Is you want player burn out that will give it to you

how is it madness?

dont they do it in soccer.. its a shorter game gaelic... usually have more of a panel than the local soccer teams and wouldnt a make a panel season instead of the 20/22 players that are mostly used! if the county board were able to arrange fixtures an dstick to them there would be no problem would there? just the because it took so long to play the league final doesnt mean 19 games couldnt be played in a season along with a mayb 3/4 games on average in the championship.. isnt there training nearly 3/4 nights a week.. could one of those nights not a match night.. say every wednesday and saturday..

Football skin. There are a number of reasons it won't work. Club teams won't play without their county players because relegation works through the league. Therefore if Galway go on any sort of a run through to the latter stages of the All-Ireland series there will be numerous games left over until late in the year. To add to that problem if there are players selected from clubs in Galway to represent Ireland for the international rules series there will be another break in the league games. Also I don't think there is any player playing at county level who on top of playing national league games and championship with the county and then play championship and a further 9 league games as it stands with their club want to play an additional 10 games in your opinion. Where would you schedule a break for the ordinary club player who is committed to the cause for his club to take his family on holiday during the summer. Another point is currently there is at least 15 games for every club to play during the year when you take the Sweeney oil league into account. That is the very least. The only way that proposal could work on any level is if relegation was through the championship and the league had no real importance. There are many other reasons I could give for it that it wont work but I think that's enough. If you can come up with a reason to correct me and make see the errors of my views please do
