if carna and salthill reached the final in 2005 Michael breathneach can reach the final in 2009 Paddy_Ireland (Galway) - Posts: 30 - 18/12/2008 10:08:00 166937 Link 0 |
Carna were lucky enough in their draws for that championship year i recall. no disrepect to them. galwayfan (None) - Posts: 764 - 18/12/2008 10:51:05 166986 Link 0 |
That was one year in how many? Look at all the other years. A senior B team didnt even make the semi finals this year. And because teams, that were beaten before the semi final stage this year, are now in senior B will all of a sudden be good enough to win the Frank Fox. What will be the big difference this year from last year? Michael Breathnachs were a very good side in B 2 years ago but were shown up in A last year. Also Breacthnachs havn't done welll in senior championship in recent years galwaylegend3 (Galway) - Posts: 22 - 18/12/2008 11:43:43 167049 Link 0 |

Caherlistrane will give any team in the county a run for their money in 2009 cloud9 (Galway) - Posts: 92 - 22/12/2008 09:24:38 169176 Link 0 |
Talking to a man last weekend and he told me that Michael Breathneach are going to win Frank Fox next year...he told me they have a great training plan put together.I reckon myself it will be Corofin again. Joe Joe (Galway) - Posts: 253 - 22/12/2008 13:26:22 169334 Link 0 |

Caherlistrane to hammer any of the above cloud9 (Galway) - Posts: 92 - 29/12/2008 13:42:56 171076 Link 0 |
if they can keep everyone around i think moycullen will be there or thereabouts.i kept right with corofin up to the last 10 minutes. they were missing 4 of their best players with mark lydon being a particular big loss. they also lost one of their best forwards, conor bohan, after 10 minutes. they won the senior B this year. it was important to follow their ai intermediate success with a trophy to keep the momentum going. so for me moycullen and possibly caherlistrane are corofins biggest threat. catch the ball (None) - Posts: 90 - 30/12/2008 18:55:42 171449 Link 0 |
Caltra will be there or there abouts. Went out early last year so will have the hunger back. I also hear they have some good young lads coming through, such as Marcus O'Neill, Paddy Birch and Mike Kelly. These guys could be the lads to bring Caltra some success this year. bman (Galway) - Posts: 143 - 02/01/2009 11:45:34 172018 Link 0 |
Would think Corrofin, Cahirlistrane, Caltra, would be favourites! SAMMYTHEBULL (Galway) - Posts: 1646 - 02/01/2009 17:54:13 172145 Link 0 |

Can't beleive everyone is writing Salthill off? I think they are dark horses for the Frank Fox. Bigboy (Galway) - Posts: 133 - 10/01/2009 21:49:25 177526 Link 0 |
